Portal 2

For those who are on/past most of chapter 6/7 in portal then you already know this and can click in the spoiler.

FINALLY played it on my PC and maxed all settings out and it only sent my GPU temps(GTX 590 dual core card thus 2 temps) to 51 and 50C which is rather low seeing as other games maxed put it at 65-72C. But alas PS3 still has the allure of being on the big screen and I'm far better with a controller than a keyboard. But it does look pretty on the 24inch 1920x1200 when you max it out. Oh forgot to mention it highest GPU usage was 65% and 90% core usage. So I'm willing to say you don't have to have a super top of the line PC to still get great performance from this game in the default settings. The max don't really push a PC as much as some other games on the market and it still looks stunning either way! :D

20 bucks off at gamestop today. just sayin.

So I just completed this.

that was awesome.

The ending was pretty awesome, amirite? Though... I felt a bit far-fetched.

Though co-op is always fun! Rowland and I just finished it all up yesterday.

I dunno, I think it suited the humour of Portal perfectly lol.

I thought the end was actually pretty sad too.

Oh the ending was great! I meant the final boss fight.

yeah lol, but it just suited him perfectly.

Well it's set in the same world, It kinda reminded me of area 51.

Portal and Half life are set in the same world.

There is also a line in Portal two that talks about Black Mesa.

It would have been nice to see at least something from the half life world

like a combine ship flying over or maybe city 17

:P

The Borealis is guessed to be part of Ep 3. But it was introduced in Ep Two.

Well in Portal 2, you're woken up a long LONG time after the end of portal 1.

I guess the combine attack could have been thwarted by now.

And yeah the Borealis is going to play a major part in ep3 according to Valve.
