If it wasn't unnecessary it would be robbery and they'd be facing a roflstorm of a lawsuit. Adding expansions to a game is fine and all but when you pay for a game upfront you have a reasonable expectation to have all the content up front.
I want to be home already so I can play this some more ;;

Best Co-Op experience on the planet. Single Player game... was exactly what I feared. Fan pandering that so permeates the AAA tier of modern gaming. Still a great experience overall, but considering what we came from...
I haven't tried coop yet, I need to either find someone to play with on PS3 or the PC :x friend got it, but he works like all the time so it's hard to play with him when I am on since he usually ends up being on in the early morning or late as *** at night.

I'm only 30ish mins in.
Only Spoiler is Co-Op is just freaking awesome. You'll probably never go back to Single Player after trying it, so get that out of the way.
Do you have to host a server or does Steam set it up?

ecksbawks, so I don't really know, but, unlike the PS3, Steam actually does everything. So I'm almost positive it'll take care of it.

Semi Related. Last night Thunderz and I spent an hour or more on one co-op level and the way to do it was the most idiotic and off the wall method ever and Idk how he thought of it or why...or why the devs made that the only route that works :/
Finished single player last night. What an awesome ending that was.
