so I'm noticing the time actually went down a few hours, so hopefully once the last four games from the potato sack are done we should get it tonight!

Lol yeah I kinda noticed that also, i'm sure no matter what it will be unlocked at 12:01 even if their projected time doesn't say so.
valve is weird, I know a lot of their stuff doesn't come out til later in the day. I read something about 10am eastern tuesday. You may be able to pick up the game at midnight, but not play it til later.

Wow. Steam linking and such was easy. Already DL'ing my pc copy only 27 minutes later...and I stopped at taco bell on my way home been home 3 minutes. Welp time to go test single player on PS3.

Well my Anti virus decided to be a piece of ***and quarantine and delete portal2.exe as soon as I ran it without asking my permission or anything. Essentially meaning I have to download it from scratch again on a 2Mb broadband connection.

I joined the chat for AVG to see if it was possible to recover quarantined files and apparently it's impossible. I asked why they'd target portal 2, and apparently it's because people pirated it and they thought that targeting any exe with portal 2 in the name was a good idea.

rofl if it helps any i wont be getting mine til tomorrow. i can't believe that they'd put a quarantine that makes it unable to unquarantine. that's a breach of pc independence. what business does avg have telling you you can't play portal2?

I was going to go get my copy for xbox360 (what i play my FFXI on) for a midnight release last night but i worked all day, and then went to my sisters house for the first night of Passover. Then i got home and helped my roommate tear the house apart to look for her shirt for school.
By that time i was exhausted, and i knew if i got the game i'd want to play the game right away... and then get no sleep for work today. (7:30am to 4:30pm - eastern time)
So i'll pick it up today.

Pretty solid gameplay so far, haven't got terribly far but they definitely stepped up the difficulty a little bit.
