Every time something like one of these goes through, all my facebook friends post the links, and celebrate the 'progress' that our society is making. And it makes me sad that this is what we consider progress. Maybe I am just too cynical.
Maybe if we keep fighting, someday everyone else will have all the rights that I have had since birth.

I downloaded the crap for the open beta, but thats so Firsky can play with the Mithra thingys, he wanted to check it out, I have no interest in XIV still and hardly any in XI, which is why with the exception of logging in on my laptop and his desktop for the updates, I haven't touched XI at all in a month. Sai so far, Exa and Ess play WoW now, and nkai had a whole list of people that left for FFXIV, but I don't remember the names.

I got around to playing 14 beta again, and I'm really impressed. At first I wasn't really thinking about leaving 11 for 14. Now I most definitely am.

Happy (belated) end of Ramadan !! :D
Went to an Eid ul-Fitr celebration last night, it was lots of fun.^^ Going to another similar event tonight put on by our Malaysian community, /stoked. :3
I feel like I've been all over the freakin world today. XD Started the day with English tutoring at the local Chinese school, then hit up my favorite Korean place for lunch, and later we're having a Malaysian dinner lol

Urgh. I must be a glutton for punishment. This is the only explanation. I just finished my 600 bird trial. And my next trial, the one where my MNK will actually get OA2 and become one of the sexiest things since sliced bread (excepting the fact that I'm not all that geared) is 400 Gnoles. Kill me. Now.

I finally finished my ice staff the other day only to see I have a new trial with like 250 Wyverns :( Such a shame the new staves are so freakin ugly :(

I got a lot of that one done by helping a friend who needed Ladybugs do his OA2 GKT. Those ladybugs are danged squishy.
But I'm drooling over what kind of damage output I get to do when I hit OA2, since my Tornado Kicks are doing quite well.

I'm going to bed now/soon. It's been kind of a long day. and my very uncomfortable "bed" looks very comfortable right now.
