Have like 3 and a half hours until fireworks! We did Amtgard today, got to bug my pregnant cousin [she demanded a belly rub on me too ; ;] and went swimming! Everyone thats drinking, drink for me, but other than that, eat, relax, have fun and enjoy the day!
I get to work YAY!! Double time and a half.

made chicken empanadas and used the leftovers to make baked enchiladas.
for dessert i made from scratch a lime custard tart topped with blueberries and blackberries.

Ugh I wanna go home. The city is like a ghost town. Everything is closing up early because of the holiday and I don't think I have seen more then 25 people all day in the lobby. It's nights like this that I wish I was allowed to bring my compter to work with me.

aaaahhhhh i love cooking for people. i had to give some of that delicious tart to the elderly lady next door because of course, nick didn't like it, and no way in hell am i eating that whole massive thing by myself. it was so good though! freshly squeezed lime juice is the way to go.
and EVERYONE asks me for my empanada recipe. it's a smash hit whenever i have to bring it to parties or events.

aaaahhhhh i love cooking for people. i had to give some of that delicious tart to the elderly lady next door because of course, nick didn't like it, and no way in hell am i eating that whole massive thing by myself. it was so good though! freshly squeezed lime juice is the way to go.
and EVERYONE asks me for my empanada recipe. it's a smash hit whenever i have to bring it to parties or events.Waaaah you're making me so hungry. ; ; Personally I also love to cook, which really only amounts to helping my mom in the kitchen when I'm at home - I don't really know what I'm doing. XD One of our favorite things to make together is pasta with chicken and pesto sauce.^^ I'm actually gonna try making it by myself for dinner tomorrow night, as a surprise. Kinda nervous though. XD

I typically enjoy cooking but lately I've been far too lazy to. Destrac absolutely refuses to cook, >:O but I <3 him anyway. Was thinking about making pasta alfredo tossed with mild italian sausage. Its simple but its soooooooo delicious. T.T
Seeing Denna's empanadas made me crave them hardcore. I'll have to make some myself in the near future. I loooooooooove them.
