On an unrelated note, my best friend somehow got me into Sims Social, save me!

I never got into the Sims. I don't really like the idea of real life as a game - I do enough crazy things in my own life lol XD

To be fair, I didn't ever play it very much. But it was like ok... I have these random people I can't really relate to in any way. What now <__< ?

I only liked it when you could trap a family of 4 in a small room with only a toilet and water. Never could play the game without the money cheat either lol

I tested into the second part of Intermediate Japanese.
I didn't know enough Kanji for Advanced Level. QQ

I'm in level 2, semester 1. :D My problem is that, although I know most of the kanji, I don't know how to say them in Japanese. :/ lol

Which part of the south are you from? I lived in North Carolina, and I guess it was pretty bad there, but I lived in Asheville, which has quite a large gay population so it wasn't that bad.
Also, is Japanese a tonal language? I eventaully plan to go there and would love to learn the language, but Vietnamese is still a bit difficult for me just because I've never had to use different tones to speak. It's kind of funny to see the expressions some of my students make when I say something the wrong way haha.

Heheh usually if I'm working on something with a partner and we can't remember how to read one, I can say it in Chinese and he'll remember the Japanese. :D But yea, our tests have kanji←→hiragana everywhere. :/


I'm from Alabama, but I go to school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.^^ And no, Japanese is not tonal - though varying the stress you put on the syllables of a word will change its meaning. To be perfectly honest, my Japanese kinda went down the shitter while I was in China lol^^; Probably best to ask someone else if you have any advanced questions. :3 I've gotcha covered for French and Mandarin though~✰

Edit: I think it's awesome you're learning Vietnamese btw. :O It seems like everyone's taking Chinese and Japanese these days, I think people who do Vietnamese and Korean are like... extra legit lol ^^

Sims is just crazy addictive, I've been afraid to try the facebook one because I know I'd get hooked if it's anything like the pc games... I'd always trap my sims in the swimming pool once I board of them and wait for their energy to run out. Then it's time for new occupents :D

Since this is post 3000 I need to inculde something epic...

Sim's Social is nothing like regular Sim's, at least I can't trap anyone that I can see >.> And it refuses to accept my "going steady" request with my best friends Sim! Idk why, won't work for either of us XD

I remember getting stuck in the game a couple of times. If I replayed it though, I'd probably wonder how the hell I had difficulty with it. lol I remember Landstalkers for the same reason. I <3 puzzles, even if they are annoying sometimes.
