Ramuh.Dasva said: Bahamut.Rumaha said: Withstanding all that, my information on Sch getting Dispel was correct! >.>; Not like it matters since rdm gets it anyways. Also yes rdm/sch gets epic drain/aspir compared to what they normally get especially if you gear for it. But as main heal/support in a situations where you are getting mobs fast you will probably just stay in light arts. If you need to remove status somewhat often you have to stay in light arts Bahamut.Rumaha said: Fairy.Shiyo said: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Erase

Is so easy to keep chain with /nin, no point going with /war or /sam.
Anyway depends on player skill,if u know how to use seigan can go /sam.

Dispel removes the haste?
I am actually not even sure at this point, maybe its a 50/50 shot between Haste and Berserk
I have not been BRD to merit in a while, It only shows the haste in log though

Shits free to me Mp wise >.>; I am almost certain you can't dispel one of the effect actually, maybe its the berserk? Idk I'd have to test/remember
By Nightbear 2010-02-19 19:11:47
Normaly we lose chain @ 170 sometimes early as 50 but EXP/HR picks up right away. only takes 5 mobs to get up back to chain. ppl needs to afk for food, kids, heck i lost chain 200 to go take a dump >_> and we pick up right away

I personally prefer to go to merit burns drg/blu.
I get more dex to up my chances of criting on the birds, with theyre low vit . (On drakesbane that is)
And yes, from tests, my drakesbanes average higher then they do as /sam. And i can also take full dmg from the bid without having ot switch between hasso/seigan or worry about the rdm crying about mp. Because well my 550 HB's take care of th at.

If your average is higher w/ /blu than /sam, get better gear. Cap your critrate on /sam and you won't have that problem. Also, even if your average is higher, you'll WS up to 30% more times depending on how much haste you have once you introduce hsaso. You also get 6hit. /blu doesn't come close to /sam if that's what you're trying to say.

Haha believe me, i know what your saying.
My drg is very well geared.
And losing my 6hit and meditate sucks ***. But if im going to merit for a couple hours. I go to have fun, and my form of having fun, is maxing out my drakesbane dmg. And i promise you the stat bonus from /blu will out dmg /sam for ws's, not DoT.

If the extra dex is making the diff in your drakes dmg, then your drg isn't as "well geared" as you would like to believe. Once you cap dex, adding more won't do ***to your drake's damage.

Im missing nlegs and nhead. Other then that im practically maxed out.
Dont get all high and mighty, im simply stating i prefer to go /blu over /nin and /sam.
edit : lol thanks ruma
the head also has 4str/4dex 15wsacc and 2crit
So after hearing all this “go /NIN,” I’m starting to get irritated as to what’s so good about it? I understand the whole less mp sponging thing but I’m also looking at it in another way.
The 3 jobs that are dominant in most meripos I’ve been in: WAR/DRG/SAM. Ok, the whole WAR/NIN I can understand b/c they don’t need hasso as much as SAM polearm do and they make it easier to go /NIN since they have nothing that gimps recast/cast time while also having the ability to voke. DRG/SAM works to my understanding b/c of the fact that they can easily full time seigan w/o having to worry about acc that much. SAM is different than the other two. SAM polearm requires much more ACC. I figured the time when /WAR and /SAM works is when your meripo is capable of killing birds before they’re able to use a WS (so around 20s).
When is it alright to go /WAR or /SAM to a party for those three jobs; and when is it alright to use hasso?
