The only thing that died with kurt cobain was his terrible music. i honestly have no idea why anyone even liked them
Couse: A) you are either rich and gay or B) your musicly challenged. lol~
It was a diferent generation. I don't get any of the electronic crap people listen now a day. Nothing beats puting your life into lyrics and playing your instrument to transmit the feelings. Thats what Nirvana was about, his life put into music. Alexander.Tidusblitz

Instruments come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Just because music is not made in a tradional sense, does not mean people do not put their life and emotions into what they're working on.
boom boom boom boom boom noise boom boom boom boom 0 1 1 0 1 1 0 1! thats a hit for the musicly challeged :D

funny that your insulting my taste in music when you dont even know what it is
a few from one of my favorites. :) Alexander.Tidusblitz said: The only thing that died with kurt cobain was his terrible music. i honestly have no idea why anyone even liked them You had to be around and observant during the 90s to see why his music had such great artistic value to it. It was an immense contrast of realism and unparalleled emotion and life which society at the time lacked so greatly. Everyone seemed content with their radicalized society and unquestioned routines of self-gratification. Nirvana was a radically different, valid and everlasting musical movement for it's time regardless of whether you like it or not. Perhaps grunge is not for you. See: Pinkflyod , Dream theater , king crimson , Frank Zappa and so on~ Offline

I think if Vortex would have been the lead vocalist it would have been a lot easier for people to accept. I didn't really care for Sahrath's vocals much when I first started listening either, but they're somewhat of an acquired taste - same to be said about Cradle of Filth.
