One of my favorite things about this game is when you proc something that makes your attack more than once in your round. The only other game I've played with a similar mechanic was Battlechasers, where a class had a skill that would allow him to attack again if he crit, up to 5 times. Do you guys know any other RPG where things like DA can proc for additional attack rounds?

Suikoden has double-beat and occasionally extra attack round if you kill a mob

SMRPG has take another turn if you get a lucky

I guess I can only think if ones that aren't procs per say

Growlanser has 100% DA/TA/QA gems
Thanks, I looked up Suikoden and the double_beat seems like a 100% guarantee thing to happen and not an RNG proc :/

Super Mario RPGs, I tried and don't think I'll pick it up again

The double-beat is 100% yeah. The follow up attack is random, low %

If a character gets the deathhblow they can attack another mob, it's like 1%

I remember one of the FF3 versions I played, by using proper gear, the chars hit like a machine gun.

Maybe FF12 also had some accessories like that.

Xenoblade(s), etc

That I dont think those multi attack that unique trait nor a defining factor in FFXI.

The thing about FFXI us that by mixing deterministic factor with probsbilitic factors to compute dmg, they create such convoluted battle mechanicc that is like honey for those theory crfts and researchers.
