November 2025: Post your AMAN Trove Drops
when I got my Hoxne Earring, it was ITG thud on first chest and middle chest was just a noise. I got Hoxne Earring, some sack+2 and 5m personal. (i took the screenshot on a different char that had already gone thru so the 5m doesn't show)

As of a few minutes ago, the same exact thing happened to me. I walk in, I get ITG on the first coffer. I get a thud on the Terminal coffer and *BOOM* Hoxne earring: ![]() ![]() So, now that I'm 4/4 Hoxne items. Some stats: 105 Mars Orb. 287 Venus Orbs. Edit: Zero repeat Hoxne items. To go from Hoxne Item#3 (Ring) to #4 (earring), it took exactly 150 Venus orbs. How many repeat Hoxne items did you get from those orbs?
I think the question for Hoxne Earring becomes: what mastery rank is it prevalent to wear it full time?
i'm not sure i'll full time it, but around rank7 i think it starts becoming highly competitive for most WS sets unless you have a max +2 sortie earring or a capped Alabaster?

I'm pretty sure the question for the earring will always be "Will I actually get one before they raise the cap again?" Managed to get 5 impossible thuds throughout our many orbs used tonight, but every single one was Dyna-D crystals. Sad!
you don't Dbox them to yourself?

Since I was aiming for Hoxne pieces and only 1 character in the group has it, there's no need to d-box it, because the other 5 members in a party don't have any Hoxne pieces. I don't do dbox items, mostly for time savings, but my reasoning is that: Adding players to a Trove party where at least 1 character doesn't have an item is sufficient to make any drop appear in the pool. Obviously, I can't prove that this reduces collisions or creates the necessary degree of variance needed to make for an awesome Treasure Pool. However, it's very possible that when we see a "missing item" in the pool, that it's much more likely to be a Malignance drop, than a Hoxne piece. I hope this makes sense. I know my experience is anecdotal, but I have several thousand Troves under my belt since 2018. makes since I have a bunch of mules on this acct but only 1 acct, that is why i do it myself and only sent the Osash and the ring (which has netted me 6 additional sash's from my main.
as far as doing troves on my mules i got 14 omen bodies 3 cresp clocks and and over 70 pulse weapons so i don't send any of them lol. Hoxne earring sales on Asura: 900m then 500m, 6 listed for sale
Hoxne ring sales on Asura: no sales, 5 for sale. Ammo sales: 10m, 10m, 900m, 50m, 100m, 5 for sale. well atleast 4 people stole them ammo at those prices
Imagine being one of the first two guys selling it to see the third sell for 900m...
The only chance of the first two beeing legit sellings between two unrelated accounts is someone was trying to sell it to themself for epeen purposes and someone else already had their AH bot configured for that occasion.
This game has too many players with seemingly unlimited gil supply, if a new item is rare enough it takes months or years till the price can settle at a reasonable range for regular players. I wondered that, but what about the 50m and 100m sale? Still screwed themselves.

I’m not necessarily saying that the ah is being obviously manipulated, but I’d be a fool to trust that price history for both the prices and the estimated availability. It was likely immediately back on the AH for like, 500-700 to see if someone took the bait. The seller then bought the next one for 50m, and has basically zero AH history. Kinparu is jp and briibe isn't, so it's at least a little believable.
Some of you idiots did think it's worth a billion, afterall Also just realised the neck has 10 more blue magic skill than jse neck+2 which is disappointing if it breaks any tiers, not sure if it does
Itd just break an occu tier at best, and its already a stupid blink amount so it doesnt really matter. Otherwise 10 more hp on magic barrier, always nice. Would use jse for everything else

I mean my mistake was assuming the playerbase isn't *that* hard up for a superitem, but wow I don't think we've had one of those jump to kclub levels. It's worth much more than kclub (unless you play rng only or something), people are just uniformed or lacks imagination. If I could pick one for the rest of my playtime its easily the ammo.
I know a guy that back in 2019 made 15/15 WSD+10 valorous-herculean-chironic, all with manually bought Dark Matters. Took him more than a handful of billions to by all the DM necessary.
Don't underestimate how wiling some people are to go "here's my wallet give me the shiny". I would not be surprised if someone made an addon that would auto-buy gil for them via their RMT when they run of out gil from using that ammo 24/7.
