square should release a classic server tbh id play it! starts with level 50 and slowy goes up to 75 id even pay a diffrent sub for it as well lol.

The law says they aren't, but you are entitled to your own opinions.
Horizon (and other PS's) are not Final Fantasy XI. You, the user, use's your FFXI Retail client to connect to and play a a thing that is a facsimile of FFXI but is not FFXI. Now whether you, the user, are licensed to use the retail FFXI client is between you and SE, the private server has nothing to do with it.

Expansion to the far east, new jobs time mage and chemist or going back to being level 50 and doing all the same missions again. Hard choices lol.
Altho if they did a complete revamp of the game and HD'd everything with the promise of releasing everything again all redone, I wouldn't mind starting over then.

I've been using AshenbubsHD-Basic and it's been beautiful. 1440p with SS using DgVodoo2 + Reshade really enhanced the games look. Though there is only so much we can do with the limitations of the engine.

They arent exactly creating anything new for XIV either, since their newest expansion will be Mamool's with a leader named Gulool Ja Ja. And thats the MMO of theirs that is currently getting all their focus.

Um I believe it's quite trash. It's a drug induced fever dream of what the devs fantasized could have been in an alternate reality where they were put in charge.
Such things, while hilarious to look at, are protected by the 1st Amendment in the USA.

Just wanted to point out that on Twitch Horizon streams are linked to Final Fantasy XI, so at least there it's advertised and recognized as FFXI, not "something different".
All the people advertising it says it's "best way to experience classic FFXI".
I haven't seen Horizon devs to ever correct any of that, so I'm assuming they are fine with it and encourage it.

Was gonna reply but figured it wasn't worth the time. Since you already broke the ice tho...
Guess some people don't realize that the entire game minus art assets would likely have to be remade to make a classic server. Every reason that you cant just sync to 75 and get a classic experience right now would have to be reversed/remade.
