Game Login Window Is Black

I'm trying to set up on my laptop. I have everything set up on my Desktop fine. When I load the game, the log in screen is black. I can hear sound and everything, just can't do anything because the screen is black. Searches only come up with Steamdeck fixes

Need a lot more information but let us start with the basics.

Windower Y/N?
Dgvoodoo (or another directx wrapper) Y/N?
You said desktop, is there mobo video? Y/N
Did you verify resolution settings? Y/N
Did you fiddle with high DPI settings?

Version of Windows and graphics card and drivers also.

Running a 3070ti GPU and graphics updated.
Windower yes.

trying to install the "make ffxi" beautiful. Loaded reshade and voodoo. I did all of this on my desktop and didn't have the issue. I've redone the install 3 times and same result every time. Set the DPI like in the video. Same settings I have on my desktop. It's set to Application. I think it's a Voodoo or Reshade issue because I didn't go past those when installing it.

Had this happen to me when I installed reshade.

Did you make sure to double the ram? this sounds very much like what happens ingame when you go to a zone where your .dat mods exceed the maximum default ram.
