Hi, has anyone (for science) used a moogle iris on a bonanza weapon? I'm hoping there's more to the Reforge than just a bump in base damage and attributes.

I don't know really. Augments or mechanics adjustments? The reforge is quite underwhelming, but I guess that tracks.

There was a post on the japanese forums asking how to actually augment the weapon, so a few japanese players have picked Irises.

Turns out they have to go to a new moogle in bastok to trade the iris and the weapon, the person asking the question had tried like every NPC known to man.

i think you meant how to reforge the weapon.

I feel like you should never pick anything except the nyzul tokens skip. A cloak could be argued for, but nothing else matters on a mule character that you will transfer to main. Tokens is literally hours of your life that you can skip with the book.

Probably what I'm going for honestly. It was that or go for the 50 mil and I don't think I'm hurting for gil right now.

Oh, is that what the moogle near the smithing guild in Metalworks is about? I thought it was weird that there was a moogle just hanging around there that didn't seem to have any purpose to serve.

Buying alex, or farming gil to buy alex, takes longer than farming Nyzul IMO even if you don't already have some Nyzul tokens.
