These work with Xipivot but require the addon to be restarted and a zone to happen to reload files.

These effects can be turned on and off in the menu:
config>misc3>weapon effect on/off (disengage and re-engage)

i like the second one. I think afterglow effect should have been something like that to begin with instead of making character glow
