What To Farm For "pulse Weapons"

i just recently got back into the game and been spamming Ambuscade and got to the final weapon and need a pulse weapon. Sadly never got lucky back when Voidwatch came out so now in a world of i119 living is there a easyish voidwatch to spam to try get weapons? Some VW had some annoying death moves. I was thinking Qulin might be easiest?

I've done hundreds/thousands of Qilins and never got a pulse once. I believe it's a 0.1% drop rate. I've had a lot more luck waiting for a Nyzul Isle Uncharted campaign and doing that with 2-3 characters. If you do it daily for the two weeks of the campaign you'll probably get one. I got one each of the last two campaigns.

If you're newly returned you may not have an easy time killing the T3 Gaes Fete in Escha Zi-tah but they are apparently a better chance with around 1% drop rate. I've done them around 150 times but no drops yet, but I'll keep trying.

Honestly you have to put in a lot of hours to get one no matter what.

The only other options I can think of is if you do the Monthly ROE to earn Deeds, you can redeem them for a Kupon that grants a free pulse weapon. That however would take 2-3 months or so (can't remember exactly, would have to look).

You can buy 5 Pulse cells from the auction house and turn them in to the NPC in Jugner Forest for a pulse weapon too, this is the fastest way but not the cheapest at all. In fact, it is generally expensive.

Sadly, you're either looking at time, or money.

anyhow 25k potporri isnt hard to get, can buy it that way. You will be doing cp/exp anyways so 2 bird with one stone.

yeah i come back to retail like twice a year lol.

From my experience, the best options are:

the 3 month RoE objective
Farming t3 behemoth in zitah
buying from /yell
buying from the ah (really expensive)

I've gotten 2 pulse weapons from the aman trove
It's purely luck but another option.

Also side note, is Qulin (voidwatch) soloable for the most part at i119? with some support trusts?
He doesnt have instant death moves and also not much for adds.

Getting 25k potpourri is also an option, but you'd have to do enough VW to accumulate 3 stacks of Petrifacts to unlock them. But I mean, the option is always there, just pop emporox ring when you're out getting CP.

Abdhaljs's Honor is probably an easier path for a lot of players.

The "farming Potpourri" option is more of a "oh wow, I have points for a free pulse" kind of thing, not necessarily something a person who needs it right away would be able to pick one up soon. Neither is Deeds (5 month commitment from scratch). VW is hell farming, but at least you make money doing it in the meantime. AMAN Trove and NNI are the most common ways to get them, whenever the latter's campaign is running or a new update month (tonight) comes around. Other than those options, farming a T3 (or paying someone to farm one) is the simplest and probably cheapest option, outside of paying 25m in cells (which is instant). IMO, every single option sucks when you "need" it.

If you were on Asura, I would farm one for you for free since I don't need anymore. Ask around, someone on (server) might do the same.

ive got like 125k potporri, not hard to get.

VW is trivial to do, can just 2-3 step ws one shot morta or whatever u farm.

Just get potporri buff and go do some cp, get 25k in no time. Think potpourri work when u farm VW too, so kill 2 bird in one stone there as well.

Came back around 1 year ago now, i'm all caught up gear and skillwise easily.

Qulin is easy solo for me, thats plan....E lol

Pop all the beitetsu/riftborn/pluton NM in zi'tah, easiest way and can spam those since the pop is cheap/plentiful.

Level 135 NM might be tough for my noobness XD

I've gotten 4 pulse weapons from him and only killed it a little over 100 times total with TH4

He's easy to solo with trusts if you have vorseals and a decent DD job, and the fight should only last 2 minutes at most

This is how I got all of my pulses. It "usually" drops before 100 kills with th4. I can go thf, but it takes a bit longer to kill.

Before I switched to Urma, I tried spamming VW nms but after a few hundred of no drops I gave up.

Hahaha, I’ve heard that! I promise i had done like 10 when we got the pulses, so I guess I am just super lucky :)
