They try to fix exploits silently in emergency maint when given the opportunity, so not impossible they will do both. That said, given the initial report got trashed I doubt they're even aware of this yet. Plus, the only way to know if they fixed it would be to try to set it and you'd have to be pretty stupid to do that at this point since all you'd be accomplishing is risking your character.
