What have you done in Monstrosity / Titles / Days Played?

I'm interested in your Limbus max caps for Apollyon and Temenos, too.

For Monstrosity, I have absolutely everything unlocked and level 99.

971+ titles (Guildwork is kind of broken with the odyssey stuff).

Moogle Mastery is 43 (14/14/15).

1979 days playtime

Temenos: 159000
Apollyon: 156000

I completed a few more things that may impact Mastery Rank recently, including completely finishing Monstrosity (all monsters at level 99), finishing up another Prime weapon, and finally pulling the trigger and doing a race change to get the 'Consort Candidate' title. I'm still Rank 9, but I decided to put together a list of accomplishments (and to-dos) to that might be helpful for anyone else chasing Mastery Rank:

I placed exclamation marks next to the things I'm currently tracking as 'incomplete' that may affect Mastery Rank. I decided to put all of this information into a node so that I can update it as I go to use as a checklist for my Rank 10 climb.

Anyone have advice on when to start recording for the "Smells like a Rat" portion of "Five Seconds of Fame"? And whether you were in 30 or 60 fps as I think that may impact on when a successful recording may need to begin.
It's the last recording I need but it's been a bit stingy. I've been following the "Start recording as she moves towards the pillar" note on the page, but I feel that may be a bit too early.

Does anyone know the best equipment item to use for Dream Race against Sakura (Chocobo Racing Official Race)? I find it difficult get 1st place with First-Class Strength/ Impressive END / Discernment Outstanding / Receptivity Substandard and Gallop and Canter abilities. I get 2nd place every time.
Whenever I use a Chocotrain it says another result might decrease? I tried chocobo taping and speed apple but both didn't work. Does foulweather frog work?

I think I kept going with Speed Apple and eventually she got screwed over by other chocobos using items and I won.

I recently won with 252/191/189/0 Canter/Treasure Finder after about 8 attempts with Speed Apple/Final Spurt. The secret ingredient is prayer more chocobux. You are waiting for a round where:
1. Sakura gets hit with a thing
2. You don't get hit with a thing
3. Weather doesn't mess your chocobo

This is exactly what I did too. I got the Sakura win a few days ago.

I used the chocobo I raised ~20 years ago and token'd her up. She doesn't have any abilities; just SSS/SS/B/D or something like that.

It took her probably around 20 attempts or so to clinch the win. You just have to get lucky with Sakura tripping and debuffed by other birds. But it is possible.

As an aside, I have almost no idea where to go from here. I'm at 999 titles, have all Monstrosity species unlocked and lv.60+ (a handful at 99), 2 master trials down, Chocobo Digging very high, all buffs unlocked in Meebles, most runes in MMM, all KIs from Abyssea+Voidwatch, one crafting shield, a good chunk of all Campaign missions done from 3 nations, numerous REMAs, Ebisu +1, all jobs Mastered, Gladiator HCG, most Vorseals unlocked (only at 8/11 HP/MP, 8/11 Naga Raja and Azi Dahaka, 10/11 for Quetz, rest full unlocked)... I've even been going through and clearing all of the Garrison battles at least once and clearing some Hunts. But I'm still rank 8. 1389 days playtime too.

I know this system is almost certainly "points-based" but I still can't help but feel that there are some rules that gate promotion between ranks. Otherwise, my experience is completely inconsistent with most of the rank 9s in this thread >__<

My assumption is that they didn't re-point anything in the recent update that added rank 9 and 10, but made content that was added after the system suddenly worth points. Subsequent to that, I assume that if you only do content that was added before the system (I think everything you mention in your post?) then you're going to cap out at 8.

That said, taking all your monsters to 99 and making sure you've capped chocobo digging will probably get you more points and might put you over the top.

Sakura race really was just luck for me.

What equipment though? I tried Pepper Biscuit this time and Sakura was "unaffected." Well, that was a waste. Just keep spamming Speed Apple or Chocobo Taping (increase strength)?

I think like others have said it really just comes down to luck with Sakura tripping and debuffs landing. I used speed apples and have what by most accounts should be a top of the line racing choco with Gallop/Canter and it took me 45 attempts to get the win.
