Is there an addon for checking titles you have, even if just the number, or do you have to do it manually across a gazilion of different NPCs spread around?

Not a gazillion, but like 8. A lot of the title npcs are the same.

I just bought all the wardrobes and max mules on my account and went from rank 7 to rank 9.

There's 16 title NPCs, though that's not the full extent of titles. Few other sources like the MMM moblin, etc.

I've been debating making an addon that reports overall completion of things like missions, quests, ROEs, titles, and other content that's easily trackable, but my motivation has been low since I already did 99% of things myself and was max rank anyways.

The title component is probably the most difficult, not in terms of technicality, but just in workload as it involves mapping somewhere between 1100 and 3000 flags to specific titles you need to manually parse and lookup in the resources as it's not exposed how the game does it. It's not complicated, just essentially writing down the menu titles and cross referencing it with the packet and the title ID, then making a mapping table so you can record which ones you have as you check each NPC.

I'm kind of lazy, but I could try to make the effort to do the work if there's enough demand. At least for the titles part for now. It also would probably basically just be a list of missing titles without trying to categorize where they were from or anything.

I wouldn't expect it super quickly though, I have a habit of getting distracted and my motivation for personal projects is in flux depending on how work is going and how burned out I am on coding at the moment lol.

not sure about maxing out my mules, but maybe i'll try maxing out my wardrobe from 5 to 8 tonight and see if that helps.

my "main" character now is only a 10 year old account and i was inactive for a good majority of that time, so i'm only mastery rank5 and trying to get that boosted up ASAP... i finished a bunch of RoEs and did a little (easy) title hunting, got Mentor status and still haven't ranked up. I did go from 4 to 5 when they updated last week, but curious about what other simple things I can do before I start working on the super tedious things hardcore

Our mules on the same account count towards the main characters ranking? That is unfortunate for those of us who just have storage mules.

eh since i came back 2yrs ago i've always wanted to do a lot of the content i hadn't yet experienced in the game (incl. all nation missions and quests and silly stuff that doesn't "really" matter, just bc lore) and just always have been chasing other stuff that is more pertinent to my progress. it was always an intention once i felt "caught up" from my time away, i'd start working on the menial stuff just for completions' sake.

i managed to get super lucky getting the earring, and now my desire to get more mastery ranks is definitely a ton higher - do i want to grind sortie for maybe a +2 earring that's maybe as good? or do i want to spam a ton of limbus to try and upgrade the Alabaster? ... or do I want to do finally do some of this old stuff and get more mastery ranks so this earring I have is even better? (i already do sortie daily and my limbus motivation is higher now that we have more info regarding matter droprates from chest, and have new content coming next month)

Went from Mastery Rank 7 to Rank 8 after just doing many many titles. I was missing a lot based on my research. I still have a lot left to go though. I don't have escutcheon, any master trials, any HTMB VD clears, no subcrafts 70 but Fishing 110, Cooking 110, Synergy 80. Only a few jobs mastered, only Cooking crafting GP items. Have done Monstrosity but not sure what levels. Chocobo digging level 1-2 haven't done much yet. Only the first MMM title. Only a few Ballista titles; none of the job ones and only a few rank ones. Finished Mineral Vein and Trees in Mog Garden (1000 etc.) but trying fishing net, pond, and furrows still. All Monster Rearing KI mementos I have, but working on raising and putting down count. So, I am a bit surprised that I even ranked up.

Titles are the main thing, so not surprising you ranked up at all. Titles titles titles. Everything else we chose to do was basically after we ran out of easy titles, lol

It's only been like 5. But that's a LOT for monstrosity.
(the camps are very limited so unless youre really looking for them its hard to find them)

My 2c on monstrosity having 99'd every species: it's fun as hell especially with mobs so comically large you need to *** with the camera settings.

That said, I disagree with Eiryl on camps being very limited - and although there are 65 zones available to you, you should be sticking to the 3 level cap zones for the buff, and each zone can handle a handful of folks swarming mobs at a time. YMMV on high population servers, but it's really not a problem and shouldn't dissuade anyone from *** around with that content.

I did the majority of the 6336 monstrosity levels just in Buburimu.

Edit: another reason to stick to Bubu is the reliable availability of other repeatable RoE's - wind/earth/water/fire/thunder crystals, and vermin/beast/bird/aquan/amorph kills.

Most people do. They just bubu with blm mobs and oneshot everything

You can't just go kill mons. It's opt in, not free kill.

The optimal (only) way to get gladiator is 2box farm and kill your 2box.

Someone with more experience in it will have to elaborate.

I think I just killed regular monsters to max my gladiator rank. Builds slower but can be done solo. It's been a while but I don't remember every using another character or friend to do it

To build gladiator rank, just make sure Belligerency is active and kill regular monsters in Bubu under level cap the same way you'd level up your monster in Monstrosity. No 2-boxing or anything special required.

But if you want to kill my monster and I kill yours, we'll cap way faster. Otherwise use exp rings and kill mobs as a BLM.

I did rank up to HCG though and still rank 8. Seeing the relatively recent post of someone being rank 8 with a few mastered jobs, no subcrafts, etc., damn they really lowered the bar or I'm stuck at another wall and missing something.
