So uhh... It looks like pond/coast are really 1000 total harvests for the max rank title, because I only have the rank 2 ones so far (3rd titles should unlock at 100). 1000 days of mog garden fish collecting IRL ?><S><AJFD>

There's no reasonable way they expect 1000 visits/fishing, they're unverified

1000 Mines/Harvests, sure, they get 20 a day, but literally 1000 entrances for 1000 days is Cray-Cray

I feel like a person who goes to the mog garden 2589 times should have no real issue counting titles...

Unless you meant in the overall obtainment of data points from other people too.

Aside from it taking a lot of time, it seems almost moot seeing how Rosa certainly has way more titles than I and still is Rank 7. I'd be more inclined if I only had to do it once and the game actually would say whenever you unlocked a new title in the log to make tracking easier. That and a "title lock" are features I'd like added to the game regarding titles.

As much as I've never paid attention to it, I know understand why I have so few titles lol. 300 titles come from 5 second worthless fetch quests. I just don't do pointless quests.

37 Quests that I've never bothered to do (basically ever) in bastok alone that give titles. Not counting Jobs/Avatars

The "how to get every title" rapidly evolved into "how do you do every quest in the entire game" Abridged.

Quests arem't that bad though besides the stupid ones that have requirements I don't even think I can meet anymore (looking at you gustaberg/kuftal tour!)

You can still level sync and do the tour quests, but yeah, it's just a matter of having 0/80 inventory, grabbing a ***load of random garbage and going door to door passing it out. Tedious.

There's only like 50 NM titles (*)Actual random lotto spawn, no requirement NM. Not VWNM Abyssea Quest NM etc
compared to 300 quest titles. (*)500 if you count jobs AF

on the plus side, if you don't do any quests but keep getting tons of titles elsewhere, you would be able to see if total quest completion played into the mastery rank at all or if it's just titles

It's come to the point were I can only get a handful of titles (that are reasonable) without dipping into the quest pool

I got damn near every nm title, all 30 woes, I can still buy the 30 CP titles The 9 Odyssey titles and the ~100 abyssea nm titles

Was trying to avoid the full clear abyssea thing but it's a big chunk... On the actual topic of hitting rank 4, again, I've done what feels like a "ton of ***" and still stuck on rank 3.

My Quests and/or Titles are probably the hold ups. The proper course of action is probably obtain 500 titles if possible without doing any more quests... then force quests to be the "event" and count them for the requirement. Unless said titles cause the rank, then count those.

Just biast and lumber jack left for nm RoEs. I should be able to hit 1000 RoE without much issue, but might have to get back into the harvesting section a bit.

I'll give another update when I get to 1000 RoE or 800 titles. Whichever comes first

Also another REMA on the pile with a marsyas, though I doubt those matter since I ranked up to 7 without another

edit: and here's my nm titles I have remaining. Some of which are feasible and just boring to grind out (vwnm ugh), but others I guess I'll just have to get lucky one day

I forgot to check my Mog Garden yesterday, but at it's height, Garden helped quite a few Crafters with mats that were a pain in the neck to gather or simply wait on AH for.

(Nevermind the fact some people find it a fun and relaxing activity.)

Heck, I skipped the Auction House entirely for my main's and mule's Godlsmithing and Blacksmithing 60~80+ range, consistently mining Platinum and Darksteel ore everyday. '-')

If anyone is a supreme masochist that hates themselves as much as I seem to love wasting my time, feel free to //gw flush your titles to guildwork and count them in an even more time consuming fashion that a spreadsheet /nod

if it helps any... unlocking monberaux didn't yield a rank up from rank 6 to 7 nor did unlocking the last trust spell.

It all revolves around titles, everything gives titles in some capacity directly or indirectly, except the skill. There is nothing at all that gives a title from skill. WSNM doesn't. Unlocking a myth doesn't. Trials of the magian don't. It's the odd one out. There's no "Skillchain exhibitionist" or "Skillchain master" or anything of the sort. "Weapon maester". Just nothing even remotely related.

maybe it's the slightest teehee about brown magic... and I wish I had been playing closer attention to my 2 > 3 but I just didn't expect it at all.

I sure hope you can figure out something about the low ranks, because I'm out of luck with useful ideas until I get a rank 8 eventually (if there is one)

The only things I can do are get titles and do quests. It has to be it. (besides mastering jobs and buying ***ill never use on it, rema)
