The main reason to use Buburimu specifically is because you turn PVP on. Infamy cap outside PVP is 10,000. At 10,001 Infamy you get +20 points. At 20,001 Infamy you get another +20 points for +40 total. That's part of why you're not seeing oneshots, you're effectively working with "half" the equipment size. Ooh right, I forgot the NM and HNM status granting additional poinnnntsssss, completely forgot that because I've been spending lotsa Infamy to unlock stuff XD

Not that this will surprise anyone as a thing that can rank you up, but I hit MR6 after killing Za'Dha Adamantking (didn't have the title already from the Stronghold battle in the past)

 Somewhat related to Mastery Rank, but the XIChecklist addon added that I had completed all of his trade in requests but as you can see from the top window, I have not done Legion Clomper Goodness 2 nor either of the Einherjar ones. It updated at separate times too so I'm not sure what's going on there.

Just dinged to MR8 after completing the ASA mission line, was 7, completed the final CS for ASA and zoned to get MR8.
-Have not started/completed MKD -Have Ebisu, no +1 on either Ebisu or Lu Shang (no fish logged, completed before the 2015 changes) -At the time of dinging to 8 I do not have Medal of Altana(Did some nation hopping to finish Trust 109/109) Before I started working on addon missions here are some things that I was hoping would push me over that did -not- push me from 7 to 8 in order: -Synergy to 80 (all other crafts were already capped) -Last two Nations to Rank 10 -All Job AF quests completed -Bonecraft Shield completion -Campaign Ops progress (thank you to everyone on Asura who helped open up alot of the higher tier Ops) -Alot of Monstrosity -Savior of Abyssea -ROE Completion over 800 -ACP mission line -109/109 Trusts (2 additional Crystal War Questlines were the last two I completed) -ASA (which put me over)

Just hit rank 7. getting Rank 10 in sandy was what pushed me over (prior only Bastok rank 10)

Rank 7 with 403 RoE? Wow. Can you do a whole list in text format because I am absolutely perplexed how you are Rank 7. This seems low even compared to Rank 6 people.

It does seem very low indeed, but not everything is weighted the same
Of all the things ROE are pretty low priority. Less than half the 12k checklist complete, to be rank 7 is wild I was rank 7 with 448 RoE. I was trying to hit Rank8 without doing any additional RoE but lost patience.

Any reason to get M02 and M03 Tabulae for the purpose of MR?
Are the purchasable runes from Chatnachoq potential drops within MMM to get for free instead, and are any of them ASAP purchases if not? Is there a Voucher that's most commonly used to farm Runes? To damn many and being limited to setting 30 at a time means i do the roe w/o having it set. Hard to read... but jeeze, still doesn't make sense to me as to how you hit it.

First note: The "Way of the X" KI is only available for purchase at 98, when you need it to make the signed rank-up item. So if you care about that you want to go to 98, not 88.
Every individual crafting skillup above the combined 40 level cap will delevel the highest craft you have at that exact moment (that isn't the one that's going up.) So you'll lose 0.1 from whatever's highest every time you gain 0.1 in whatever's going up. This means if you stop at 88, you'll see, in order: All 70 (no delevels) GSM 88 will reduce BSM to 92. (At this point you have two options - you can either talk to the LTW guildmaster and accept recapping all crafts at 70, or you can just keep leveling. Doesn't mattter.) LTW 74 will take BSM down by 4 levels to 88. You now have 74 LTW (going up) and 88 GSM + 88 BSM (going down). LTW 88 is 14 levels of gain that will alternate decreasing 0.1 GSM and 0.1 BSM each, so you end up at LTW 88, GSM 81, BSM 81. Hopefully this is perfectly clear, but don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions! (Personally, I did go to 98. I wanted more key items.) Unproven speculation: I have a bee in my bonnet about the stupid Campaign Statistics: https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Campaign#Campaign_Statistics Certainly levels are for sure required for for some of them - Kinslayer: Keep requires Reconnaissance 7, I actively watched Vellamorn grind it up on Asura and the instant it ticked up it unlocked - and it's quite possible that more are locked behind levels like that and nobody ever documented it when it was current content because they were just always met. Doubful that they are worth anything for the purpose of MR. 2. The purchasable runes do not drop from the mazes. 3. You can farm runes on any voucher but you may choose a quick one like Voucher 7 where you just kill 1 mob. 4. The rune "Lost and Found" determines which set of runes drops. If you have it equipped, set 1 drops, otherwise its set 2. 5. Good setup to farm marbles is Voucher 9 with purchasable runes 101, 103, 104. Buff before entering because you will be silenced and have amnesia. When going with 6 CC you should get 200+ marbles per run.

Yeah, I think that's a good rule of thumb, but if it's not giving you the option to even do the level 1 ops then I'm not sure what you're supposed to do.

I've actually already been doing tip 5, but at 1 CC just to get runs in faster towards Overlord title. Good to know this is the fastest marbles will be coming in. so if Masaru dinged 7 with more checklist points than Yubers who just got 8 def means stuff is weighted more than others. Not sure what tho as every stat masaru posted was higher.

Yubers has more titles and those definitely are weighted differently. A quest title is not worth the same as a VD HTMB title.
It’s very likely we aren’t counting something because the difference in the title count can’t mean a difference in one whole mastery rank. I am pretty sure I have higher than you in all categories (minus TVR completion) and I'm still only rank 6, but I only have 3 max level jobs |
