Final Fantasy XI Monitor Issues

trying to find out anything on how to fix final fantasy causing my monitor to have increased ghosting and such only while playing final fantasy xi. 144hz monitor with freesync, causes ghosting during game and persists after closing the game. only way I have found to fix it is turning my monitor off and on. Thank you in advance

It might be the full screen optimization setting within windows.

Thank you, that fixed it. Not sure why windows does that since it sucks so much.
