@Saevel, only gonna make a limited comment about the link you posted because yes, you are correct we're veering this ship off course.

As I stated earlier, the term "Black Culture" is an uneducated way of stating "African American Black Culture" because it diminishes all the variances in Black Cultures that exist. The term, as your link shows, gives the term its birth during the "Black is Beautiful" movement of the 1960s, when trying to have independent voices for Swahili Culture, Caribbean Culture, Congolese Culture, etc would have in many ways split the message...they at that time just wanted simple acceptance. "Just treat us as humans" was about all they hoped for. Rarely was it a discussion of anything beyond those basic human rights.

We have evolved past those basic terms as our understanding of the true issue at hand grows. You'll notice I never said it was an "inappropriate" term- just an "uneducated" one.
