If you really are all in on this sh*t you aren't going to be locked in for 6-12 moths. This will be your life forever. If we can't get a vaccine this year, we won't be having a working version next year. If we cannot get ahead of the space availability in hospitals now, we wont get a handle on this, because healthcare workers will begin to get sick also. Get a *** clue, stop trolling for the sake of nuh uh, president Trump said we good. WE are not good, people are dying, hospitals are over run, ***is real get your *** head out of the sand. You have an unhealthy obsession with Trump's balls in your mouth, he's not even your president, you got no clue. Offline

So the proper way to deal with mutation is prevent it from spreading it to more people, thus lockdown, lol. The entire reason why lockdown is required BECAUSE it mutates. Bahamut.Celebrindal

....sigh, can't decide if I'm enjoying this or getting sick of it. Welp, why not.
-universal vaccines do exist for some diseases. Polio says hi. So does Measles. No correlation to the disease we're discussing, but since you continually cite diseases unrelated to COVID-19, thought I'd join the fray. But the point stands that you can in no way state that there won't be a long-term vaccine. In fact, the most recent data coming out in the past 72 hours is the exact opposite- its turning out more stable than expected. -Its better in China, and they did "Draconian Quarantine Measures" that you are so against. So which is it? Oh, and by the way, China just today canceled the start to their professional basketball association that has been on hiatus for 4 months, and was planning on returning to competition next month. It has now be postponed because they can't guarantee safety until at least May 1. -oh, and lastly, don't forget that Italy has a smaller population that many of the countries in Europe and has exorbitant mortality rates for this disease with a modern healthcare system. It also has the oldest population in Europe which is why we see it happening there first. Leviathan.Draugo

kireek said: » So let me get this straight, you think we are going to vaccinate every person in the nation once a year for this virus right? Cause this sh*t is serious and will kill us all right? You know the Flu vaccine has to be re administered every single year right? These virus mutate, a vaccine is only good until the virus mutates and it will. So... your logic, ignore the virus, let it kill off who ever is going to get sick anyway, magically jumps start an economy just, you know cuz trump snapped his fingers. Move along? Your reasoning behind breaking quarantine is *** silly. The economy will do what economies do. They aren't exactly something you can force into "happening" they happen through vast influences. They flourish under certain circumstances, and fade under others. Your economy will be total ***for years to come if even 10% of the work force gets sick and dies. Your logic, *** it, break quarantine because we have to get economies. The ***will be worse because asshats like you keep the downplay mentality going. You're that one *** that has bite marks from zombies but refuses to let the rest of his group know because of denial. Can you at least agree to just stay home for a month while the doctors figure this thing out? Even if we do it your way and just isolate the old and immunocompromised, it will take a while to figure out who is isolated and how to isolate them. But if you keep resisting, you will only make everything harder for everyone.

The only two scenarios that fit your solution are as follows:
-this entire thing is a hoax to fix a boring news cycle or force thru via emergency legislation some massive reduction in personal freedoms. -let disease kill off those who don't resist it because there apparently is no longer any reason to fight any disease and we should just let nature cull us. Either you're a complete tinfoil hat moron, or you're for genocide via biblical methodology. Either way, don't think I wanna have a beer with ya any time soon. I tried. Offline

Yup, pretty much the only way to slow down the spread especially in any countries lacking face mask supplies, aka NA/EU. again I ask- what is "vast"? What's your point in dead bodies where we start taking it seriously? You've been given examples regarding why actions now are important and dismiss them because "we don't see bodies in the street". So just say it- what's the number of dead people that you see as justifying these actions?
I do agree with your premise regarding two consenting individuals having contact. But what about the 10 other people who don't agree to such things but have to because of the choices you make? Leviathan.Draugo

kireek said: » .....carry on lives as normal with precautions. YEA thats what the soft quarentine is for, the precaustions you talk about? dont get others or your self sick and die at your shitty burger flipping job. I am not even affected by this myself, I live alone, I work alone, and I am still working. With precautions. Your statements come across as someone who wants the whole world to ignore this, so that you can go back to the *** movies. ***is selfish, denial is when you claim that things aren't bad and go around doing ***you do anyway, and infecting or at bare minimum being infected and spreading it around. Just remember this when you happen to be one of those "low risk" persons who gets infected anyway, remember this when you start feeling symptoms and ignore them, remember this when you in turn go and infect your friends, grandparents, or children or spouse who may not be as low risk as you are. these measure aren't put in place to be an individual inconvenience, they are put in place to give everyone a chance at life, not just yours. You are that bitten *** who drags the virus into a relatively stable compound and ruins the ***. Plain and simple. Bahamut.Celebrindal

kireek said: » Vast is more than the flu, a lot more. Again, nobody even cares about the flu and it killed nearly 100k in 2018. So you need to explain why nobody cared about that but they do care about these deaths. Were the people that died form this special in some way? You're a full blown idiot. 100k deaths in a year IS caring about it. Do you even know the numbers from the 1918 Spanish Flu? That was not caring about it. That's what we're trying to prevent here. kireek said: » The main issue is that the government right now is forcing all businesses to close, this cannot last and it's destroying the economy and businesses. China did that and it worked, what makes you think other countries can escape the fate of having to use the same method? Nope, lockdown has to be done and deal with it. There's no other way to slow it down before cure comes out. kireek said: » The only time this should not be the case is if vast numbers of people are dying from the virus and it is proven to be a serious issue, that is not happening because the numbers of people dying is tiny comparable to other similar viruses. Do you "wait" for a surgery if a doctor tell you that you have a stage 1 cancer, or do you choose not to believe it because you experience no symptoms? By the time a lot of deaths show up it's already too late to do anything. Leviathan.Draugo

80k is not nearly 100k you dolt. Truthiness, fuzzy math, and made up numbers do not win an argument.

You have a suck *** job and you want free money. Listen, without tax payers running companies there will be money for them to give to you for free. Isn't it awesome how kireek just ignores the mortality rates of the seasonal flu as compared to the coronavirus? Dr. Fauci is saying even if initial estimates are a little high, the coronavirus is at a minimum 10x more deadly than the seasonal flu. But, kireek has been advocating we ignore the medical data for a while now.

1. WebMD is not a legitimate source even when they cite a legitimate source. If you're going there as your first option, you reveal a lot.
2. Just because YOU didn't know about those flu deaths doesn't mean everyone else didn't. Don't presume to know what I do and don't know until I give (and I do plenty) you reason for such. 3. YOU are the one hysterical about body counts. We're the ones hysterical about PREVENTING a body count. |
