Mireu kill before the nerf or we suck
Update almost certainly doesn't reset consecutive kills.

The base value jumped from 10 to 15 first, then 20 like 2 days ago. Not sure how many Mireu kills are required for that. Pandemonium.Zeto

I've killed Mireu Jr. once so Asura's succeeded. Most of it was spent running around trying to target the damn thing.

This whole Corona Virus ordeal has REALLY shined light into how piss poor SE's allotted servers are for FFXI... When Mireu pops its pretty common for around 300 people to try and run in to fight it. 300~ people who's data files only pull less than 3kb/h each? (Asked about it once and it was abysmally low)... This is FAR less than a typical lolFortnite, Battlefield Match, CoD Battle Royale, Apex, etc etc and yet it gets so bogged down that it can't load the boss. And it's not a tech problem either, you'd need to break out 5 grand to make a PC better than mine so that just leaves either REALLY bad code or REALLY outdated servers.. like... oof... I'm certain they have brand new pristine servers for FFXIV but XI? I have doubts.. Or maybe there's an addon to help with this? lol It doesnt really matter, you get full points for just being in zone or doing as little as calling trusts and using Meditate but it would be nice to fight and earn some Beads at least. My server is at 60/kill but im pretty sure we missed one right at start as we just got the bonus a bit late. From what I remember, we went 20 > 30 > ? > ? > 60 (because i dont remember if i ever got 40 or 50/kill). Weird if assura is at 40/kill yet. I guess either the server had bad luck with pops or missed a few. Offline

It goes 20>40>60>80>100
There is no 15 or 30 or 50. Also im pretty sure it resets back to 20 if you fail to kill Mireu once. Cant say for sure because Bahamut havent failed yet. I mean in theory there is 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 but that would require less than 6 ppl killing the dragon which never happens. Edit: Actually you cant ever get 10 points i think. That would require a solo kill but then you would get bonuses from killshots. Im pretty confident there is 30 points step. I remember having to do 3 fight to get my cap for few days.
Rising to 60 was very fast though. Maybe some luck streak of Mireus almost back to back (relatively) The first step is only 10 -> 15 base points

Has anyone received a non-whole number reward for killing a dragon? The day before yesterday, I got 36 Dom Pts after killing Quetz (no last kill shot on phase 1 or on dragon).

I think it was last week, I got 64. Base was 40 and modifier was 1.6 due to number of people I believe. Not complaining at all, i even prefer things like they are like now, but nerfing Mireu, nerfing that much his respawn rate, nerfing the own time gate to get rewards.
It just sound like SE convinced itself that the "new" Domain Invasion was an utter failure and its quietly throwing out the content. I just feel like it was a waste of potential. I think game do need some server-wide content like WoE, Wildeskeep Reive. Domain Invasion was suposed to be the next in line server wide content but SE already seems to have moved toward Odyssey. Even job adjustment seems to have been forgotten. For a moment i was excited to buy the DI gear just to try Mireu. Not gonna happen now, either because its totally not worth now, or because unlikely i will see it anytime near in the future. Ow dafuq......
i was crafting, missed unity shout for Mireu, seems entire server missed it (now its low time), chain went from 1938 kills in a row to 0!!! Ugh back to 20 DI/kill ;; I
am just pissed! Understanble though.
You just do once, cap and go do your stuffs. Unity just calls once at starts and keep in silence. If none else is monitoring its unlikely to notice. None waste their time seeing those retards unity leaders talking about their lives. Offline

No. Not til they beef up whatever servers their using for FFXI or fix whatever the hell is causing the boss to be up and fighting but 70% of the players can’t even see the thing much less target or fight it. Until SE fixes it so that 600 players can occupy said event or similar without issue? I hope they never-the-fck-ever touch it again, because it was a tremendous failure. We’re only there for the points, if not for that we know damn well we’d burn that *** to the ground lol. |
