ALL TRUMP!!! ALL THE TIME!!!
That's a valid position that I can appreciate, and yes, internet forums have a low bar, possibly the only way to get lower is by using an accusation of autism as an insult. We should all be able to agree that it takes a complete waste of sperm and egg to stoop that pathetically low (well, almost all I suppose).
interesting yahoo article
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/why-it-might-be-time-to-replace-the-star-spangled-banner-with-a-new-national-anthem-023741108.html Quote: Last week, protesters in San Francisco toppled a statue of the song’s composer, Francis Scott Key, a known slaveholder who once said that African Americans were “a distinct and inferior race of people, which all experience proves to be the greatest evil that afflicts a community.” This week, Liana Morales, an Afro-Latinx student at New York’s Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts, refused to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at her virtual graduation ceremony, explaining to the Wall Street Journal, “With everything that’s happening, if I stand there and sing it, I’m being complicit to a system that has oppressed people of color.” Instead, Morales performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a hymn widely considered to be the “Black national anthem.” seems like there's a motion of systemic destruction involving anything that focuses on american culture and history. First we had toppling of confederate statues, vandalism of national monuments and buildings, toppling statues of US presidents, then statues of abolitionist. Now talks about changing the national anthem? I kinda wonder what's next ~ If Trump doesn't get re-elected and this stuff suddenly stops happening and everyone seems to go back to the good old days then everything that's been happening so far would seem rather suspicious to me. Those weren't baseless accusations nor the lowest bar you will see here. The two of them have Asperger's, by their own admission. CNBC Quote: “You never, ever count anyone out, but these have not been a good two weeks for Donald Trump,” Republican pollster Frank Luntz told CNBC. Joe Biden “has been pretty quiet” lately and he should stay that way, because when he speaks he makes gaffes that Trump can exploit, Luntz said. The less Biden talks the better he does in the polls and the more Trump speaks the worse he does, Luntz added. Yeah, pre-Covid I was thinking it was Trump’s to lose, but being in charge with pure liquid insanity going down for months on end is bad for business. I’ve calculated that the downward shift in the approval aggregates is overstated for reasons I won’t go into here (if you’re curious, PM me), but any approval loss is rough at this stage.
Then again, in times like this you should expect the unexpected and a lot can happen in the months that remains. No matter what, it's going to be exciting to see everything that unfolds from here till Nov. My money is still on the president getting re-elected, but to say for sure one way or another is just silly until the concession speech goes out. "exciting" in that terror is "thrilling" sure.
Definitely not "exciting" as in "peaks our interest". I've gone from "he's getting four more years" to "we'll see what happens", and I'm starting to lean "I wonder how many EV Biden is going to end up with". The biggest problem Trump faces on the EV map is that some of the states he took pretty narrowly in 2016 (MI, PA) look like they're going to be absolute blowouts. Long way to go, but COVID-19 is going to decide this election, and it's not going away anytime soon. Biden doesn't even have to do anything, he can mostly sit back, spew out some platitudes now and then, and let a cratering economy and rampant plague do his work for him. Apparently last night Trump staged another incredibly softball interview on Fox News, and couldn't even answer what his priorities were for a second term. Not a single item was listed. I'm surprised he wasn't given a follow up to allow him to at least say something like "beat covid." But when I think about it, he has already claimed to have done that many times.

Negative. If Trump gets re-elected, of course Biden will concede. Biden is a politician and that's the game. I don't see him causing a fuss if he loses. Trump is a businessman moonlighting as a politician. If Biden wins the election, I'd figure pushback and days-long calls for "recounts" followed by "rigged election" claims here and there. Ultimately, I would hope the president would bow out with dignity, but given the track record, I would not be surprised if it's just a shitshow. No one can know for sure though, that's just my thoughts on the subject. These polls are worthless. They poll 1,000 people over the phone. Sample size is too small to be meaningful in any way.
Mmhmm.
The whole fantasy with Trump having to get pulled out of office kicking and screaming is just that, a fantasy. If he loses, he’ll leave, even if he continues to bluster his way out the door. The only caveat would be if there are some kind of election shenanigans that force the courts to get involved first (see: Bush/Gore 2000), but that is highly unlikely to last through Inauguration Day.
"kicking and screaming" means he's still here and going to jail for all the ***they're waiting to get him for. he's 100% fleeing before they can legally arrest him.
He'll be broadcasting live from russia while bitching about it being rigged. as the white house burns to the ground. If he can't have it neither can you. My only wonder has been would he even go to Biden's inauguration.

Speaking of fantasy, here’s a good example of a fanfic. Viciouss said: » My only wonder has been would he even go to Biden's inauguration. Lol highly unlikely. It's pretty much a win/win for Trump this election. He gets re-elected, win. He loses, he goes back to being rich and not having to deal with politics, win. There's no realistic way he's getting arrested immediately after his tenure as president. At best, there will be more lawsuits than there already are against him. Now if previous presidents start getting tagged for their misdeeds, then maybe in time it will come to pass, but Trump is hardly at the forefront of Presidents who have committed crimes and see zero jail time. I dunno about the whole attending inauguration thing. Obviously Trump and Biden aren’t going to be buddies, but I don’t sense that deep loathing that you sometimes get from political opponents. It probably helps that Biden is a doddering goofball instead of a cold and spiteful type like Clinton.
Trump may not try to bully himself into a second term.

No offense (or get offended, don't care either way) but the LAST thing liberals should be talking about at this point is how much grace Trump may or may not have in leaving the office if he loses in 2020.
Liberals have literally run a clinic the past 3 years in exactly how not to accept an election defeat. You guys got plenty of other things to rag Trump about, you should just avoid that one. Considering how Trump has never stopped crying about the myth of voter fraud, even after winning, I think we are good over here. Thanks for your concern tho.

Can anyone here list a crime that he allegedly committed? You truly have to be insane if you could somehow compare in your mind the level of "not accepting" election results that's been displayed by liberals over a 3 year period to Trump expressing concern, valid or otherwise, of voter fraud via mail-in ballots. Which, the Democrats have given more than one example where people should be concerned with them taking advantage of voter fraud. As I said, this is what literally makes liberals seem nuts, for lack of a better term. You're dealing with a man who literally gives you legitimate things to whine about on a silver platter and yet, you still have to try and apply your faults to him. |
