You know people who interned for a senator or better?

I forgot to add this:

Quote:
Awards and honors

The MIT Lincoln Laboratory named the asteroid 23238 Ocasio-Cortez after her when she was a senior in high school in recognition of her second-place finish in the 2007 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.[20][21]...
I don't listen to politicians, not even those I like. I have no idea what she sounds like.

No, because none of them are/were that interested in politics. The impressiveness of your credentials are relevant to your field. Politics isn’t a field where a high level of intelligence is even mandatory. Just look at the guy who thought the island of Guam could capsize from having too many people on one side.

Ocasio-Cortez attended Yorktown High School, graduating in 2007.[17] In high school and college, Ocasio-Cortez went by the name of "Sandy".[18] She came in second in the Microbiology category of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with a microbiology research project on the effect of antioxidants on the lifespan of the nematode C. elegans.[19] In a show of appreciation for her efforts, the MIT Lincoln Laboratory named a small asteroid after her: 23238 Ocasio-Cortez.[20][21] In high school, she took part in the National Hispanic Institute's Lorenzo de Zavala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session. She later became the LDZ Secretary of State while she attended Boston University. Ocasio-Cortez had a John F. Lopez Fellowship.[9]...

During college, Ocasio-Cortez served as an intern for U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy, in his section on foreign affairs and immigration issues.[25] ...

Ocasio-Cortez graduated *** laude from Boston University College of Arts and Sciences with a BA in 2011, majoring in international relations and economics.[9][26][27]

Some airhead. No one this board, nor anyone any of us know IRL was as accomplished in high school or college as this woman.

Kireek, you are WAY too invilved in American politics and you really need to stop hanging out on American right wing websites. Aren't there any Britt right wing websites for you to foam at the mouth over?

AOC is in no danger whatsoever. You "explained" nothing. She has already raised more money than anyone in the House. We have never seen anyone raise that kind of cash in a House election. The GOP is definitely not going to put any money into that race. Fox News will give her opponents plenty of airtime, but it will be a facade. She isn't going anywhere.
Vic, it is a rock solid dem district. Fox is not going to waste airtime on the republican who drew the short straw and had to run against her.

Yea but is she smarter than me ? I don't think so !

Iowa results are finally in and Buttigieg won by .1 which is crazy. Any of the campaigns can request a recount and I'm sure someone will. Still not sure what the delegate count is.

So she has a 4 year degree...this is supposed to be impressive? I know many that have Masters, including myself.

you give way to much credit to the latin words *** laude. It is a fancy way of saying deans list, gpa of 3.4-3.7.. that is not hard to get. I got get deans list at Syracuse and Le Moyne, it's not that hard

Many people "trick it" to get continuing college scholarships, ***most people do it. You take a couple hard classes to your major and fill the rest with cake ***. Like take advanced a and p and pathophysiology then stack the other 3 with dumb *** classes like english lit, health, psych sociology and ***like that. Literally everyone does that nowadays.

I'm not saying she isn't smart but I think you're idolizing her way to much.

I don't. But when someone calls someone with her academic credentials an air head, I will defend her.

You have.

So why not either wait until you are on a PC or buy a phone keyboard?

Can you imagine AOC as President ? She would totally like be in over her head. She would probably be on Snapface or Instaface updating her daily life. Posting pictures of herself eating ice cream. Instead of running the country.

Between that and tweeting while taking a dump executive time, not sure which is better.

The reasons Trump uses Twitter is to bypass all the ***media CNN MSNBC etc. That will spin what he says thinks etc.

More like it's to avoid all questions that would require him to give a reasoning behind his actions.

Look he is the President. He is accountable to voters not reporters.

The reporters can and do ask him anything. And he can if he wanted say "no comment" and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.

Would rather have some *** on CNN tell you what the President thinks. Or the President tell you directly.

Yeah, especially seeing how some of them get super triggered and make death threats at the mere sight of a Trump supporter.
