Keep in mind it wasn't just duping in Salvage. People were also abusing this ***for duping Sandworm drops as well.

I think it was totally fair since like I said before that the ToS stated 100% that if you abuse an exploit and let's be real these people who did it knew they were abusing the system and they should have gotten banned.

The 2nd set of duping or kinda duping with the second Salvage exploit was amusing at best. People PoS hacking down to previous floors in a run to refight Ramparts for Alex is tame compared to what's happened with the Medals.

The original Salvage duping was just bad since it allowed people in the Sandworm BCs to dupe multiples of money drops which at the time was valued in the tens of millions *** things for awhile also.

If anyone remembers the times of the Christmas inflation then this is kinda reversed as to how hard the market got flooded with these medals. I still cringe at knowing the price of an NQ Haub was around 22 million once.

Oh and since it was patched I feel no worries about telling people how that worked. Originally in Salvage and the Sandworm BCs, If you went in with an alliance and a drop happened, All you had to do was just break the alliance and each separate party got that drop.

I.e. You would walk out with 3 Ancient Torques instead of one etc and yes it worked for the Rare/Ex drops which is why so many people had been able to complete near full Salvage sets.

I don't think the bans of around 750 accounts wouldn't have seen so harsh if the devs hadn't saw people making money off this ***as well.

It's also the main reason I think bans are coming hard this time and the devs are just going to take their time going thru the logs. If it's been 2 years since this was known, you can bet your *** they'll eventually go thru everything.

Well I'm sure what ever the cause, SE will make the right discussion and ban the true culprit....

I'll agree it's SE's fault on a scale on some part but they're human also so while this crap did slip past them the people who abused this honestly didn't give a crap about the long term damage this would do.

I would like to see the proper people punished for this because this just reminds me of Phantasy Star Online where duping and hacking was so rampant that the game was literally burned to the ground because SEGA couldn't be asked to give a ***about their own game.
