Guildwork addon is broken
as of today if you have guildwork addon turned on it wont let you log in game sends you back to desktop and shuts program down if you turn GW off the rest will work

Same thing happened to mine today. Tried all kinds of crap to fix. Saw this thread, turned off gw, loaded right up.
Came here for the same reason. FFXI wouldn't start.
Event log shows Guildwork.dll to blame. Something must have changed recently. (not that anyone cares)

Do you guys having problem with guildwork plugin have a gw folder that contains guildwork.exe and python27.dll?
Try giving permissions to that folder.

Also to note to OP: it's a plugin, not an addon.
so far it looks like for some people the python file updated, for me it just may be because I never log off unless I have to.

I crashed yesterday; tried logging back in and crashed instantly. Deleted guildwork and had no problems logging back in. I guess it's breaking for some, but not others.
Considering they are still taking money for subscriptions. I feel like this needs to be fixed or refunds should be given.
Yo, if you're STILL paying this long after the fact, that's money you don't deserve to have in the first place.
