Dems have lost again.
Well, I've been watching RCP and that seeems to be the case. The latest is a NPR/PBS/Marist poll, taken on the 25th, has Trump at 45 approval. That's up two points from a few weeks ago. /Shrug.

Hes got every reason to pile on, he’s been hating the guy since day one. Kremlin: Hey, Don't Release Transcripts of Our Calls
Moscow doesn't want to see Trump-Putin conversations made public Newser I can't say as I blame them. Man, you guys are gonna be so sad when this doesn't go anywhere either.
Careful, the liberal echo chamber you’re in is a very potent hypnotic.

Donald Trump's Ukraine Phone Call 'Made Me Sick,' Republican Former Governor John Kasich Says Newsweek Quote: Republican former Governor John Kasich slammed President Donald Trump's controversial call with Ukraine's president as "completely inappropriate," saying it made him "sick." Kasich, who served two terms as governor of Ohio, stepping down in January, made the remarks after he was asked about the call during an interview with CNN's New Day on Thursday. "It made me sick to my stomach," the GOP politician said. "You don't expect presidents to do that, and it was completely inappropriate, and frankly, it borders on—it doesn't border, it was an outrageous thing. He should never have done that." Prediction for now:
Sorry Jean you gotta wait until December for Santa to give you your Christmas present.
The exact same thing that happened with the Russian Collusion narrative will happen with this narrative, President Trump gets more popular. Yeesh, those are the kinds of ridiculous fantasy predictions that we haven't seen since CJ went away. Don't quit your day job.
Oh come on Rav, CJ wasn't into fantasy, he was into infowars. Infowars is insanity.

Whether or not he's more popular (source?) isn't really the point this far from the election. I can understand why you'd think this would end up going nowhere, based on precedent, but this is literally just beginning and we're getting new information on a daily basis. JP, this is all projection because Trump is exposing demoCrat crimes.
All these left wing radicals come from the same school where they were taught to accuse their accuser of whatever it is they have done. fonewear said: » Bahamut.Ravael said: » Yeesh, those are the kinds of ridiculous fantasy predictions that we haven't seen since CJ went away. Speaking of psychiatry even though it is unethical that hasn't stopped these psychiatrists from diagnosis Trump.

Apparently you can diagnosis a person without ever actually meeting them in person.
The more you know. Sylph.Jeanpaul said: » There are some pretty major differences with this situation, namely that this happened when he's president (and thus impeachable as it's an abuse of executive privilege), and he's directly involved (rather than acting through a system of contacts). There are several impeachable offenses here, all of which he's admitting to. The only thing that happened was an imaginary fiction in your own mind. The transcription of the call has been released along with the whistle blower complaint. Any person with enough intellectual honestly can just read them and see nothing the left said actually happened. That precludes most of you who get your "facts" from CNN and MSNBC talking heads. The whistle blower didn't actually know what was said during the conversation, nor did they actually write the complaint. It was written in legalese and not common English, it also referenced things that the reporter *thought* happened. Those things turned out to not have happened. Like I said earlier, if CNN told you that President Trump murdered children you would accept it as religion mind body and soul. Later when it was revealed not to be true, you would reject that revelation in favor of the already accepted religious belief that he did murder children. Your "list" reads like an imagine leftist Christmas list, which it is because your the same person who insisted Trump had no chance of winning and that the 2016 election was an easy win for the savior Hillary Clinton. Bahamut.Ravael said: » Yeesh, those are the kinds of ridiculous fantasy predictions that we haven't seen since CJ went away. Don't quit your day job. The only thing on his list remotely plausible is the "impeachment" since that's just a majority of the house which the Dems can likely muster right now. Impeachment is like a grand jury incitement, it's no indication of guilt or accuracy, just that half the house believes the Senate should look into it. Which brings us to the real meat of this whole thing, it takes 2/3rds of the Senate to remove an individual from their position. Furthermore it takes half the Senate to even agree to hold a trail to begin with, meaning the House can vote to impeach and the senate can just ignore it. Finally the whole process is presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who can declare the proceedings unconstitutional and nullify the results. That last bit is a safeguard to prevent a single pontifical party from nullifying an election they didn't like by removing a lawfully elected President for frivolous reasons. So yeah the President isn't going anywhere, and there will be no incitement of any "Trump" people. Everything that was done was done openly and lawfully. The FBI and DoJ have already returned the answer that after reviewing the material of the call that it didn't violate any laws and that there was no quid-pro-quo. But hey not like any of the leftists here will pay attention, Rachael Maddow says something so it must be true. Seems like the talking point today was attack and tear down the whistleblower, thats fine. We will throw out everything the whistleblower said, and stick with the evidence Trump provided us. A transcript of him pressuring Ukraine to investigate his political opponent. Offering US resources to assist. These are indisputable facts. We don't need the whistleblower when we got Trump admitting these acts of wrongdoing. Its pretty obvious why Pence was against releasing the transcript, its damning. Who needs the whistleblower?
Worst case scenario for the Dems is we get to use this all year until the election. Viciouss said: » Worst case scenario for the Dems is we get to use this all year until the election. Yeah, because the average voter won't be sick of hearing about it every day for a year. I guess Trump should have thought more about sending his personal lawyer/attack dog to Ukraine to fabricate a scandal. Its blown up in Giulani's face. His meltdowns have been hilarious, from his phone interview with the Atlantic, "the country should be grateful" line, to his attacks on Romney. All Giulani has accomplished is making things worse for Trump.
