Vagary KI Question

Are the Key Items from bosses only earned from full Vagary and not the alternate Vagary that was later added?
Couldn't find good info that made this clear.

the 6-persons party runs are only here to allow people to gain the title, needed to unlock the possibility to make the empyrean armor upgrades to 119.
No key items and no drops can be obtained there, but the fights are significantly easier.
If you want to obtain key items and drops, you'll have to do it the "classic" way, no more, no less. :)
