Sure about 20 posts in 2018 and 1 of them is about XIV and no im not struggling with any content i have a linkshell to do Omen, Wave 3 dyna D, Helms and other stuff with. My friends who just came back since having a 5-8 year break yes they are struggling because they have minimal ilvl gear.

i actualyl agreee on this
one of hte reaosne i did not liek guildwars when ti came out was because it didnt feel like an mmorpg. but just an rpg with a fancy lobby themed like a town.
i loved that in ffxi you easily meet ppl and can see them fight.
Some instanced evnet are nice but really wish but i miss meeting up With tottal stranger just because they happened to cross your path.

look at everquest look to what happened to that game when they added instanced everything or EQ2 Games like FFXI Eq and EQ2 were not designed to be like what they are now and FFXI Was designed through EQ mechanics except its way better with additional stuff like Sc's,

Far as I recall, the original Guild Wars was billed as a co-op/PVP RPG, not really an MMO. It's the same sort of setup that Phantasy Star Online uses.
Guild Wars 2 was designed to be an MMO, with a focus on dynamic events that allow for on the fly co-op (what XIV copied for FATEs). Not really the same flow as XI though. Offhand, I think Pantheon is trying to bring back some of the older style.
