As a for instance, Benghazi is back in the news today.
Not being a smart ***, but could you provide a link? That sounds like something we would like to read.
Here's the search, 5 today links on the first page and it seems to be hot on twitter too.

https://www.google.com/search?q=benghazi&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1
Thank you for the link to the query on google, but I really did want a link to an article you read and would share, like the other ones.

Anything NEW to the situation that this would be up in news again?
But I didn't read any of them, I saw a headline and commented that the B word was back in the news. Then you asked so I searched. I have no idea of the why save from the headlines.

Yes it's the norm from medias, even more now since it's plagued with opinion articles everywhere.

Which wouldn't be a problem if 95% of them didn't have practically identical opinions.

It's because people are stupid and confuse quantity with quality, liberals seem really hung up on this fact. Ten people saying the same thing is not more valid that one person saying something different. Those ten could all of gotten their information from the same flawed source while the one person derived it from a more factually accurate source.

Right now the left media is all pretty much the same source, one entity "leaks" information, then writes a story about it, then shares the information with the rest who also write a similar story. This has the effect of making it look like "everybody" is agreeing with something, while it's really just one flawed source that's been mirrored multiple times.

This is the basis for the postmodern philosophy so fundamental to the left. Get enough people to shout something and it magically becomes true.

Its why they think race/gender/sex is a social construct. They belive that is enough people agree something is real, it magocally becomes so.

It’s also how tyrannical communists come to belive in genocide. If you have enough power you can make social policy overthrow human nature, and those that reject that policy are dehumanized.

The right media does this too.

And far more often IMHO.

And adding to the mindnumbingly stupid tactics:

Quote:
A crowdfunding campaign has raised over $1 million as of Tuesday for the opponent of Senator Susan Collins, R-Maine, if she votes to confirm Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court, a move she likened to bribery.

Liberal activist groups have posted the campaign on the platform Crowdpac, drawing supporters and critics.

“Senator Collins votes NO on Kavanaugh and you will not be charged, and no money will go to fund her future opponent,” the platform wrote. “Senator Collins votes YES on Kavanaugh and your pledge will go to her opponent's campaign, once that opponent has been identified.”

Say hello again to the Party of Backfire, where Collins now has more incentive to vote for Kavanaugh, because fighting against this kind of behavior only stands to make her look better, and caving only makes her look weak.

On a completely unrelated note, here's an interesting article from Forbes:

Had They Bet On Nuclear, Not Renewables, Germany & California Would Already Have 100% Clean Power

Quote:
Had California and Germany invested $680 billion into new nuclear power plants instead of renewables like solar and wind farms, the two would already be generating 100% or more of their electricity from clean (low-emissions) energy sources, according to a new analysis by Environmental Progress.

The analysis comes the day before California plays host to a “Global Climate Action Summit,” which makes no mention of nuclear, despite it being the largest source of clean energy in the U.S. and Europe.

Here are the two main findings from EP's analysis:

Had Germany spent $580 billion on nuclear instead of renewables, it would have had enough energy to both replace all fossil fuels and biomass in its electricity sector and replace all of the petroleum it uses for cars and light trucks.

Had California spent an estimated $100 billion on nuclear instead of on wind and solar, it would have had enough energy to replace all fossil fuels in its in-state electricity mix.

How long is it going to take before these places realize that their clean energy solution has been staring them in the face for decades? It's like going to a horse race and betting on chickens.

It depends what was the goal, nuclear doesn't pollute the air with co2 (Inb4 nausi says it's not pollution), but it's not considered renewable energy and the nuclear waste is anything but clean.

I'm not sure if the goal was solely to reduce the co2 production or to have renewable, clean energy in these cases.

Well, if your goal is to address the AL GORE C02 CLIMATE CATASTROPHE THAT WILL END ALL LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, then one would think that CO2 reduction would be the more pressing matter.

And as far as "clean" energy is concerned, nuclear waste is quite manageable. If you think wind and solar are 100% "clean", I encourage you to delve into the world of rare earth minerals and the land-destroying operations in China that mine them.

Point being, if it creates waste, it's not clean.

So literally no energy is clean then. Thanks for clearing that up.

I've always said go nuclear, close every coal plant and replace it with a nuclear one, wait, that's unnecessary. Close every single coal plant and replace it with 3 total nuclear plants.

Literally no way enough power can be made from non nuke clean energy to fulfill himan needs.

The capacity doesnt exist to meet demand growth let alone replace what currently exists.

IDK about Germany but there are many reasons why the last nuke plant built in the USA was started in 1973. Among them the fact that the plant became operational in 1996.

Here in the USA states do not build power plants, energy companies do. 23 years from initial outlay to start making an RoI is way too much for any corporation today.

There are newer designs today that take way less time to build and are far safer, but nothing so far eliminates the waste problem although there is an interesting design out there.

From the moment it's built, it is, which is the point ...

Ir makes zero sense to ignore what goes on in the bookends of "clean energy" production. Otherwise you're putting on your blinders for the sake of good feels.

And since all non-clean energy needs to be taxed and controlled, the liberals have create the perfect reason to give them control over everything in the world. There is literally no change we humans can make that will not create a waste product of some sort.
