So I really don't know abby. For Epona's ring do you have to proc blue to get the drop, or is it possible to get the drop without procing? I'm on kill 7 with no proc, but have yet to get the ring. So idk.

it's possible without, but super rare. even with proc it's not even ~50%.
Blue proc is important for Epona's, yes. Treasure hunter helps as well. Monk gets most of the Blunt procs if you pop the mob between 22:00 and 6:00.

My experience has been that blue proc adds roughly 50%(static not relative) to each drop it effects. I believe epona's is in the 0-10% range without blue proc, and 50-60% with.

You wouldn't expect anyone to ever even consider farming a PCC(pca) anymore, but I know if you go looking for it someone will show up sooner than later.
I got the ring on about the 4th pop with a blue proc.
Was proc'ing on WAR and got 2 procs in 4 pops. Bigger deal for me was the charm. In the end I stayed back and let the trusts kill Rani, and just ran in to WS when safe from charm.

I put this theory to the test and ran all the way to maze of shakhrami to find out.
Turns out, it only applies to Asura players!
It's not an asura thing, its a hyberole thing. Happens to me where ever I go. Absolutely no reason "to be here" but there's always someone there.
I will say this- if you're known on your server, stay in one random place for 3 days and ppl show up wondering if you've found some amazing new gil-making way.
