Think you've covered it all. Gnafron's h2h is certainly not a 119 piece but it gives a good portion of HP to the pet.
I guess my thing is that Kei is such a non-threatening Omen boss; I don't really believe an automaton is in any danger of being killed, even while cursed. You could probably just ride a max HP/DT set when pet is cursed and not even flinch, side for fullers (which a well-timed retrieve will handle). But I think you got all the pet HP pieces. Funny, I just asked this question last night in the other PUP thread. Offline
He's actually wanting to be able to eat a fullers while cursed. Auto could probably tank with master naked outside of that.
Activating shock absorbs a bit before it would could help PETHP 5197 - I think that should do it.
I'm trying to remember here...
Dancing Fullers is 10k damage distributed among all in range of the move, correct? Lakshmi.Buukki

But great idea otherwise if it works. Shiva.Siviard said: » I'm trying to remember here... Fullers does +2500 damage to every body in range. So a pet alone would take 2500. With a luopan it would take 5000...and so on. Happened to me more than once. If it's cursed, the retrieve method doesn't work either so your backup plan is certainly safer.
What I wouldn't give for 1 more light elemental capacity...
Ahhh, ok. I was getting the moves confused.
The way I handled Fullers was to have a dedicated macro with the following. /ja "Maintenance" <me> /wait 1 /ja "Repair" <me> Maintenance to remove Cursed, then Repair to get the puppet's HP back up. I always did this when I knew my Automaton was cursed and Kei was 1-2% away from dropping Fullers. It worked wonderfully. I have my pup configured as such:
Code <kei> <frame>valoredge frame</frame> <head>soulsoother head</head> <slot01>strobe ii</slot01> <slot02>target marker</slot02> <slot03>eraser</slot03> <slot04>auto-repair kit ii</slot04> <slot05>speedloader ii</slot05> <slot06>tension spring ii</slot06> <slot07>shock absorber ii</slot07> <slot08>auto-repair kit iv</slot08> <slot09>strobe</slot09> <slot10>turbo charger ii</slot10> <slot11>shock absorber iii</slot11> <slot12>armor plate iv</slot12> </kei> The eraser removes curse and light maneuvers bring the pup past 2.5k. If the pup is cursed before fullers I yell at everyone, "Back off! I'm looking at you, Chickenfrog!" until the pup has a chance to erase. Is there any food that increases pet HP?

EDIT : and your pet can be cursed by Kei move, so try to get 5000 ++ HP is not a good option, since you have to keep Repair up after his move and keep it full hp all the time. Offline
Outside of fullers it's incredibly tame with a little buffer it's easy for ARKs to keep you high enough and to bring you back after it
Ok, I got the Gnafron's Adargas and the pup's HP is 5507 w/o food... Ridiculous.

That's a really good HP set, especially if you've got a good amount of DT elsewhere. Besides those high dmg fck you moves that can kill anything, not totally sure how useful a max HP set like that is but its cool for Kei It's specifically for Kei if some bonehead geo forgets to remove a luopan. lol

What about adaman sainti’s? Are they better for hp?

Definitely not. Gnaf's is a 7.9% or so HP boost and Adaman Sainti is only a .75% boost.

Pretty sure Adaman was tested wrong as well given there is literally no other percent pet hp gear (for that matter only a couple of really rare event ones for players). But I'm guessing people never considered innate hp bonuses/penalties by frame back then hmm... curious thought related to this. probably pointless.. but fun :D
Anyone know any mobs out there with a mantra-like ability? I think probably not. temporarily boosting an enemies hp seems like a problematic mechanic when mobs have such huge hp pools. BUT, it would be really fun to try stealing a max hp boost effect with regulator. Might work with difficulty using the frog thing. (get poroggo to steel effect from player benefiting from mantra from partied mnk, then have automaton steel it) kinda too tedious to be worth it though. would be really fun to see, and really fun to pull off. Don't think even monster mnks can do mantra. And yeah problem with a lot of regulator ideas are the tediousness and the duration issues which gets extra worse when you have to get a mob to take it first.
That said if you were going to do something along that line if you can find a zone that has body boost/giant's drink that could be crazy. Drain III might work give more than mantra. Don't think it's actually absorbable familiar bonus is fairly long duration |
