Are the loyal Trumpettes tired of all the winning yet? Here's where it's hilarious.
Some people here are tying these 3 people directly to Trump and Russia, and some people are thinking that this amounts to anything more than minor jailtime, at best. All of those counts will lead to less than 5 years in federal prison in total. Most of those counts would have been nothing more than fines and penalties assessed against the 3 individuals, and it still will be. If this is the "smoking gun" as some people believe in, who, frankly, all of the linked people are all in the same boat, then you three will be frankly disappointed in the results. Might as well get your protest boards ready. I mean, it's either that: A) Actual bank fraud investigators are asleep on the wheel. B) These charges normally do not amount to anything worthwhile, generally a fine or something of that nature. C) The Russian investigation not only comes up empty, but Mueller has to bring something to justify this faux investigation. Meaning that there is not only not any collusion between Trump and Russia, but Mueller is specifically ignoring actual collusion done between Russia, Clinton, and Obama Administration. Which leads to it's own special prosecutor for that investigation. Which will never happen because reasons. Quote: conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts. I know, I know, if it's not bolded it's unreadable. No point in holding a trial, they are obviously guilty of not filing paperwork! Might as well get the firing squad ready! Well I guess bolding 2 things is too much for you, I should have known. Most of us are just confused as to why anybody cares. This affects Trump about as much as it does Kevin Bacon. Asura.Kingnobody said: » Wow, unregistered agent of a foreign principal So like. Yeah I agree, KN is jumping to conclusions way too quickly. Nominated for lamest deflection of the day. Which leads to being fined half of the highest single day account value in question, per year. Which, mainly, will lead to being fined the maximum amount of 3.5 times the highest value of each foreign account in question. Which could be substantial. Then again, we don't know the value of the accounts, and if the accounts themselves equal to or less than $10,000 USD, then there are no filing requirements at all and Manafort can protest that in court. And also get all charges dropped because of it (in regards to FBAR). fonewear said: » Shouldn't you be smoking pot ? WELL WE CAN'T WITH JEFF SESSIONS *** AROUND Offline

Actually, it means basically that he didn't register a very specific event (not company, event) in regards to his dealings with foreign nationals. Could most likely be an oversight, and can be argued as such in court and win. /damp towel mode off In other words, most of these charges will be hit with a slap on the wrist.
