USA should start increasing their fossil fuel development, it'll help prevent all those sexual assault!

I guess you forgot about this little gem.

Real or fake that's idiotic either way.

I only say "fake" because I refuse to click on it and waste my time figuring out exactly what it's suggesting and what degree of *** it is. Suffice to say if it's real it's terrible and if it's fake it's even worse.

Why not. It worked for all those other countries that did it...

...oh wait.

And we are sort of doing it right now already.

What does Papa Johns do with politics? We order them all the time and I've never seen or heard anything remotely political about it.
You been living in a bubble for the last 8 years or so? He was a huge vocal opponent of the ACA because it would bankrupt him or something. Even though somebody mathed it out and came up with the figure of raising his pizzas 25 cents would healthcare for his workers.

Umm reread

Quote:
HE'S THE CEO OF A MOTHERFUCKING PIZZA CHAIN WHO TRIES TO PUSH HIS OWN POLITICAL BELIEFS WITH PIZZA

That is the part I was asking about. How the hell is he "using pizza" to push political beliefs? CEO's have been espousing leftist political views for years, that is part of their 1st amendment rights.
What is Schnatter known for?

A. Manufacturing cars
B. Well-known attorney
C. Pizza
D. First man on the moon

If you answered C, you are correct! His name and influence comes from pizza. It's why we know who he is. Thus, he is using his pizza to push his political beliefs.

Imagine if some news outlet interviewed me on politics because I'm an FFXIAH mod. Would you not squint your eyes and ask "Why?"

I'm not the best person to be speaking to the entire nation about politics, neither is Schnatter because he made some pizza. Neither are any of you.

To be fair, I think he's upset that people pushing their political beliefs are hurting his pizza sales.

Or, again, that's his front for his flagging pizza sales. I still think it's misdirection.
Everything is misdirection.

What it probably really is is him trying to get patriotic people to buy his pizza by implying those attacking our beloved flag are hurting him personally.

Or something. I don't know. I haven't dabbled in market research for a while.

I still fail to see how that's any different from using sports, movies, retail, food, or any of the bajillion other businesses that are the platform for politically motivated soapboxes. It sounds like you're just mad that it's not a liberal soapbox.

The papa johns guy is pissed because the NFL refuses to fix the ratings problem by forcing the players to kneel. Viewership is falling off a cliff, and it's specifically because no one wants to watch a bunch of sports stars whine about how they have it so bad.
