Exactly, and what could be exchanged? Info on other people. Who, exactly? Papadopoulos sang and now Flynn is squealing like a stuck pig. Flynn was a bigger fish than Papadop. Who's a bigger fish than Flynn? Kushner, Ivanka, Donny Jr., Pence, even Trump. Big question is who gets the Black Bag treatment next. Mueller smartly started at the bottom of the ladder for a reason, to make Trump's fall harder than Trump expects.

No one agrees to flip and then pleads guilty to something as nothing burger as “false statements”.

If you flip someone you get them to plead guilty to grand conspiracy as part of the bargain. It serves to give weight to your prosecution. That fact that this didnt happen today means Mueller has nothing big coming.

I must admit I was quite skeptical of the “Mueller is secretly working for Trump” memes ive seen over the last 6 months, but after today I’m not sure anymore.

Plea bargains are often ways to avoid trials. Plead guilty to a charge and other charges are dropped.

This doesn't explain why he is still cooperating with the investigation. There's still more to be done.
