Why Trump won this clip:
YouTube Video Placeholder There was nothing politically motivated about the mayor's comments. Inserting politics is what the snowflake president did when he used his usual shitposting outlet to attack someone pleading for other people's lives. It's really gross to see that defended.

Yeah, yeah. Trump is bad, anyone who is mad at him is good. Nevermind that a fellow mayor had this to say: Quote: “My experience is different. I have been participating in different meetings at the headquarters of FEMA and our government and the help is coming in and right now my experience is different from hers. I’m receiving help from the government, we are receiving assistance from FEMA, I got people over here helping us with applications for the people that have damage in their houses. And we have here in Guaynabo, we have thousands of people that lost partially or totally their houses,” said Perez, who is a member of Puerto Rico’s New Progressive Party. Nevermind that a Puerto Rican CEO had this to say: Quote: “For instance, shortly after the hurricane hit, the government imposed a curfew from 6 pm to 6 am and then changed it,” Rodriguez said. “Now, it’s 7 pm to 5 am, and makes no sense. The curfew has prevented fuel trucks from transporting their loads. “These trucks should have been allowed to run for 24 hours to address our needs, but they have been stalled, and so we have massive lines at gas stations and severe shortages of diesel at our hospitals and supermarkets.” Rodriguez said it is the federal government that has put forth an organized response, and that it is wrong of Puerto Rico’s own political leaders to blame it. “I’m really tired of Puerto Rican government officials blaming the federal government for their woes and for not acting fast enough to help people on the island,” he said. “Last week I had three federal agents in my office and I was so embarrassed; I went out of my way to apologize to them for the attitude of my government and what they have been saying about the U.S. response.” It can't be that the Puerto Rican government is ill-suited to handle such a crisis (and in many cases impeding efforts to get help), it has to be that Trump bad, something something golf. I feel sorry for the liberals who defend her simply because they refuse to see how much *** trump is kicking. SAD. Last week ~180 NFL players took the knee, this week 11. Don't look now, but Trump wins again.

Second of all why do I give a *** ? Fir some reason this thread so far reminds me of this:
But I remember a "cut your hair" line in it. All the Puerto Rican mayor has been doing is trying to help American citizens survive a disaster. She has done nothing wrong other than be a different gender and skin color than Trump, who continues to accomplish nothing. All he did last week was throw temper tantrums, cry a lot, and lose.

And that's being very generous, its a borderline daily basis. He lives to attack other Americans on twitter. But hey, you guys like to dance around a legitimate complaint (the president's Twitter usage and related behavior) and attach something nonsensical and/or false to it, rendering your own arguments moot. Is this your idea of a "both sides" argument? Where you try to blunt a wrong by pointing out another wrong, committed by the same person? Its not working. Trump has attacked plenty of Americans on twitter yes, and he zeroes in on women and minorities. Pretty much every day now. The only people dancing around these facts are people like nausi that hilariously try to spin every Trump *** up into a "he is playing everyone with these 'intentional' moves, and he is gonna spring his trap ANY DAY NOW. Any. Day. Of course nausi has been saying this since January annnnd welcome to October. Black athletes exercising their right to protest are sons of *** who should be fired.
Neo nazis and white supremacists marching for statues of confederate soldiers are very fine people. Hurricane relief for Texas and Florida, two major locations of Trump's base. Puerto Rico is under water while Trump goes to the President's Cup. But there's no race card being played. Except the entire navy is in the middle east escorting oil tankers.

There's obviously a difference or else Trump wouldn't emphasize it so much.

I'm pretty sure Trump used his magical powers to destroy Puerto Rico. It's all coming together nicely !

Act like it. |
