So, with the addition over time of gear with the "enhances enfeebling effect", a friend of mine and I got wondering just how potent Dia3 could be boosted to...the DoT damage, as of course we cannot boost the -defense down effect (outside of a COR's Light Shot). So off to Ballista, and here are the results:

Bio3- 379 skill, 16dmg/tic.
(capped would be 400 skill, 17dmg/tic. Used Vitivation Tights +1 for duration bonus, hence the test @379 skill)

Dia3- base 3dmg/tic
-with Regal Gem, 13dmg/tic
-with Regal Gem and Lethargy Sayon+1,27dmg/tic
-Gem, Sayon+1,Sucellos's Cape, 37dmg/tic
-Gem,Sayon+1,Sucellos's Cape, Uk'uxkaj Boots, 42dmg/tic
(Vitivation Chapeau +1 Only boosts duration)

So, we finally have some oompf behind Dia 3, making it the better choice to pair with Poison2 for our max DoT option. This is quite nice, as its the preferred option for melees. Lastly, since the Dia line of spells cannot be resisted (outside of magic barrier type mobs of course), we can gear completely for +enfeebling effect without any concern.

Thank you to Quendi on Leviathan for the testing.

So weird that the enfeeble effect goes from being a percentage increase on other stuff to being a full +1 to base on dia.

Extrapolating from this thought- we can also safely infer that Uk'uxkaj Boots are a +5 enfeebling effect. Not sure if that has already been determined, but it does fit to have that here.

Saboteur doubles the base DoT for Dia and then enfeebling effect+ gear is applied after.
