The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which low-ability individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability as much higher than it really is. Dunning and Kruger attributed this bias to a metacognitive incapacity, on the part of those with low ability, to recognize their ineptitude and evaluate their competence accurately. Their research also suggests corollaries: high-ability individuals may underestimate their relative competence and may erroneously assume that tasks which are easy for them are also easy for others.[1]

Dunning and Kruger have postulated that the effect is the result of internal illusion in those of low ability, and external misperception in those of high ability: "The miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others

Conservatives, you will NEVER convince Liberals of your ideals and Liberals, you will NEVER convince Conservatives of your ideals. It's two sides seeing the same things very differently and the idea that you are going to explain away bull-headed opinion is pretty much a pipe dream.

Words of others on the internet don't but life experiences certainly do. For instance, all to often people who are against social welfare programs find themselves all for them when they're in need.

You don't fault them for their ignorance but you can fault them for their arrogance.

"Forgive them for they know not, what they do"

On the note of arrogance you could have just quoted my post paraphrasing the definition of Dunning-Kruger a few pages back.

Stratification is the antithesis of the Progressive agenda.

Stratification is THE primary strategy of Progressives. You divide up everyone into categories then define what they can and can't do based on those categories. You define what is politically correct and what is acceptable speech based on those categories.

The Progressive ideology has absolutely nothing to do with individual empowerment, it gives lots of pretty words but the actions do the exact opposite of those words. It creates slaves to the Progressive ideology with the goal of, eventually, doing away with all national borders and identity in favor of a singular government.

Split people into identity based groups, turn them against each other with promise's to each one to help against the others. Once the society is in turmoil, offer to create a new unified society under unconditional Progressive ideology. It's been going on for decades and is known as the "Long March Through the Institutions".

For those wondering WTF I'm talking about, early in the Communistic movement there was a group that studied why the western nations didn't join in the Communistic movement. Why did the individual workers, the proletariat, not identify with other workers in other countries to throw off the shackles of the capitalistic owner class. Turns out that those workers had stronger ties to their national and religious identity then they did to their socioeconomic class. No revolution could take place as long as the popular culture in the country supported strong religious and nationalistic identities. Basically as long as Americans thought of themselves as Americans first and working class second, they would never join with the working class of other countries to overthrow the capitalistic owner class. Thus the response strategy was formulated that the only way to accomplish this was to change a countries culture, one institution at a time, so that it no longer held strong nationalistic or religious ties, and in fact would view both of those as antiquated and useless. To create a new culture were people identified with race and socioeconomic class before their nationality and replace religion with political ideology so that they could be easily convinced to overthrow the capitalistic class and usher in a Communistic revolution.

I'm not shitting people, that's the actual plan that happened sometime during WWII before the cold war. It was the plan the Soviets followed throughout the cold war with the subversion of various university professors and media personals into the progressive ideology. Even after the Soviet Union fell the effects and goal of those idea's live on and have taken on a life all their own. People actually believe the *** the Communists were selling them and turned it into a platform of the Democrat party. Actual liberal ideas of personal responsibility and express of the individual were pushed aside in favor of identity based political strategies designed to turn individual groups of the proletariat against the capital owning class. That was decades ago and hasn't changed.

Here is another tidbit, originally Hitler and his Nazi party was very friendly with the German Communist movement, the ones that started all this. Hitler used their idea's to win political support in Germany and once he had power, he then persecuted them and they fled to Columbia University (yes that one). He didn't want them in his nation to push their ***on his people.

Anyhow the Progressive movement is just bad business. It creates nothing but strife and war because its' designed to do that. It's an ideology designed to break down a nation and render it vulnerable to a revolution sponsored by an outside entity. This isn't to be confused with liberal ideology which is something much different.

There are those that go to forums to educate, and there are those that go to be educated. The problem with political forums is that pretty much everyone is the former. You think you're teaching a class of students, but in reality you're teaching a room full of teachers who think you're the student and therefore they don't take you seriously unless you happen to agree with them.

President Trump ordered to refund golf club members $5.7 million
In complex Florida golf club case, the U.S. president could be out a hefty sum of money

CBSsports

Quote:
In a case that has been ongoing for quite a while now, President Donald Trump was recently ordered by a federal judge to repay 65 members of his Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida, $5.7 million.

Trump bought the club in 2012 for $5 million with these 65 on a sort of resignation waiting list. The mechanics of resigning from such a club are complex, but the crux of the matter, according to the Associated Press, is that Trump cut off access to the club for these members while they were still paying their dues.

All of the members on this resignation waiting list were in line to get their deposits back eventually but were still dues-paying members in the short term. Until Trump bought the club and said they weren't.

The Trump Organization will appeal. It released a statement this week that said, "We respectfully disagree with the Court's decision. At the time Trump purchased the Club, it was suffering financially, making it unlikely that these members would ever get back their deposits."

Who knows where this case will end up, but for now, it looks like President Trump's organization will be out nearly $6 million.

President Trump's golf tentacles remain long and impactful. From the movement of the WGC-Mexico Championship from Trump Doral to Mexico, to Trump's business deals in Scotland, to his dealings with Bernhard Langer to this, Trump's presence in the golf world is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Saveal lives in an alternative time line where the night of the long knives never happened...then ...yadda yadda yadda, the new world order and the hapsberg conspiracy had a kenyan baby named obama who hides in his closet and conspires against him and the rest of the free world which teeters on the brink of an orwellian armageddon.

for reasons unknown but presumed sinister all of his posts, which make perfect sense in his dimension, only appear in this universe where they are openly mocked as the ramblings of a nimrod that seemingly only read 5% of a history book and then made up the rest with half remembered B movie plots.

And yet ... the liberal can't stop talking about how bad Russia is now for attempting to interfere in our elections now. Hey guess they weren't attempting to interfere in our political system and re-engineer our society back when that was totally their thing and what they did to many countries (we did it too).
