I'm not talking about city vs. rural life on that particular aspect.

You would find that a lot of the bitching by both sides tend to coincide with each other.

But the driving force of the rural economy happens to be more manufacturing and less services. Service industry is a big part of urban life. Just because the urbanites have their jobs doesn't mean that they should ignore the plight of the rural. Which is what is happening, especially by the so-called liberal "elites" who are the major mouthpiece for the liberal/democrat party.

That's just one aspect of the differences between the two cultures. This PC *** is another major aspect, especially since PC is very counterproductive and counter-intuitive to it's perceived goal (aka equal treatment of humans).

Going to let the manufacturing vs. service thing go because I generally agree with what you're saying though there's some nuance and modernized issues at play that make it a less-than-optimal assessment.

As for the PC thing, I maintain what I said a few days ago. Political Correctness has always been lame. But some people misunderstand the difference between PC and actual malice.

I also think it's somewhat problematic and quite wrong to defend the right as "not everyone who voted for Trump is racist" while still slinging the "overly PC SJW" thing at the entirety of the left.

Which isn't aimed directly at you per se. But it's something that happens, here and in the bigger picture.

Not everyone who voted for Trump is racist, just like not everyone who voted for Clinton/Obama is racist either. Both sides have had racist votes, and voters who voted for either candidate have voted for them because of either what that candidate stated or who that candidate is in terms of racial implications.

However, the overly PC/SJW shitfest is entirely liberal/democrat. If not all, then enough to consider it all of the PC/SJW ***comes from the left exclusively. That is not saying that all liberals/democrats are PC/SJWs.

Its the same concept in regards of terrorism today. While not all Islamic faithgoers are terrorists, the majority/nearly all of terrorists do so in the name of Islam.

Obama said something on this the other day regarding PC culture and to not go looking to insult someone because they expressed something that was PC. He also pointed out the irony/similarities in emotion between the upset parties in the PC v Anti-PC rhetoric.
