Trump's exit interviews are going just as badly as the debate, repeating his pride in championing birtherism and his pride in not talking about Bill Clinton.

I flipped to Fox to see what they were saying and he kinda went into a "I'm playing Mr. Nice guy and not bringing up Bill's infidelity" mode.

Being a Trump supporter and not really caring for clinton, I must say this was not a debate as much as a slugfest. I lay blame to both of them. This was a shitshow. I vote neither win. No questions got answered past first 15mins. Moderator did nothing.
wrong.
Only one of them is constantly interrupting the other.
Wrong!
Can't even keep himself in check against a fellow American. Wonder how well that'd go over in regards to foreign leaders.
Wrong!

I like how Trump's campaign went back and deleted his Tweets regarding global warming being a Chinese made hoax from 2012-2014.

Because, as we know, he never said that.

How many bottles of water did Trump go through tonight? I would expect to see that on SNL.

Debate was a flop mostly. I actually flipped back over to football. I've seen Hillary's mug long enough that I have memory burn.

Yeah I would actually apologize to the american citizens for that and then tell them to make up for it I would repeal our nation's alcohol tax for a set period and proceed to federally legalize marajuana for having to bare witness and trump of seeing Hillary Clinton

I highly doubt he'll stumble this much on the next debate. He'll learn from this most likely. Hindsight is 20/20, I gotta say, it will surprise me if the next debate goes this badly for him.

*** up the first one can be a gift in disguise because you learn from it
This was the same Trump from the primary debates and he's not going anywhere. He'll still yammer on incoherently, stop mid-sentence to go off on a tangent, and ultimately never say anything beyond vague policy ideas. The only thing we'll probably see is him hammering on the supposedly more successful points of his. Of course it'll be right in the middle of an unrelated statement but that's what happens when you cram for a national debate.

I think he'll adjust somewhat. He'll see that the same debate style from the primaries won't cut it and adjust. He probably won't win them but he probably won't lose as badly.

Definitely need a stronger moderator next time, and a mute button. I think a couple of issues didn't even make it to the stage, specifically health care and immigration. I am not going to fault Lester Holt tho, I don't think anyone else could have been better in his situation.

Sadly this is the type of dialogue you can expect here; Bring up and point and just get it condescendingly ignored and mocked.

It's like trying to talk to a 10 year old and they can't handle a healthy conversation.

It has been Trump's to lose, and he appears to be doing just that. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to rebound like Obama did after getting trounced by Romney in his first debate. It really is possible to overprepare, but The Donald undercut the prep a little too much, methinks. I'll be poll-tracking to see the effects in the coming week or two....

He did just fine. He doesn't have to win any debates. He just has to show the majority of people that dislike Hillary Clinton but are unsure if he can handle the job that he is a reasonable alternative and he did just that. As long as he doesn't implode during one he will gain every single debate. Avoiding the bait is a good idea.

I agree I think she pissed off even more Americans tonight she is doing the establishment no favors because it's who she represents and not them at all. She does not live in the same reality as the rest of us.

If you cannot be honest with yourself then you will be in for a rude awakening on Election Day. You hate Trump so try to see the debate through a normal person's eyes.
