You are the one being butthurt. Why are you telling me how to live my life and how I should handle things in my marriage? Am I telling you how to live yours?

Again you are still trying to force your ideas on me. You are literally being the evil you are bitching about. Is it not clear to you?
This makes no sense.

You even agreed that it would be your wife's choice previously, but you must keep battling me for no *** reason.

Things I've learned today. Don't tell women what to do.

Progress!
I thought that was obvious.

I mean, who wants to listen to 40 years of bitching because you asked your lady to get you a beer from the fridge that one night?

It is times like these that make me really appreciate how awesome my Wife is.

Never tell a woman to calm down, I learned this a long time ago.

Saw my stepdad try a with my mom a few times and the results weren't pretty.

The worst part is some men never learn. And you know my stepdad is one of them, because you'll note I said "a few times."

Even after the first time I was like, "You fool! You foolish fool! Don't you remember last time!?"

While I suspect our wives are drastically different, I generally feel the same.

Well technically it's a stupid thing to say to begin with...if someone is agitated there must be a reason for it, just telling them to calm down without addressing the lingering problem is a bit like saying yeah forget it.

Not really sure where the disconnect is. You are arguing with me like that wasn't my point to begin with. What gets me is how you trying to force your opinion onto me without first taking the time to understand mine.

Even forcing your opinion onto me when you think I have a differing opinion is pretty terrible.

Point is, I'm not telling you what to do with your life so stop trying to tell me what to do with mine. At least in the realm of decisions where they only effect you and those immediately around you.

I don't know where these assumptions come from, I give up. You don't seem to be even understanding me.

If it's communication problem or refusal to have constructive conversations I can't tell.

The point is, she's not telling you what to do with your life. She's telling you that it's not your place to tell your wife what to do with her body.

Again. In your situation, it's clear that your wife values your input so she will take it under consideration. Maybe even defer to your judgment. And that is her right.

But again. It's her decision and right. Not yours.

I've learned long ago. When dealing with women, the best thing to do is nod your head, "yes dear" them to death, and let them wear themselves out.

You're dealing with the wrong women.

I'll calm down when you offer a solution to the problem, you don't just tell someone to calm down without a plan.

It's like someone says "I'm hungry" and another replies "Oh, don't be."

Howzabout dinner and a movie, followed by a few hours spent at the local cigar lounge?

Dinner and a movie is a terrible date. How about jet skiing followed by beach volleyball !

I disagree, you can read my posts and you will see how I clearly respect my wife's decisions and would discuss things with her. But it isn't just about her body it is about a baby that we would want to have with each other which involves us both and both of us would be involved in making the decision NOT just her.

That is my view on this subject. Disagree with me if you want but stop trying to shove your opinion down my throat.
