What makes Trump qualified to run? He woke up one day, decided to run for President, and did just that.

Same for Clinton.

They both did it. And look where it got us!

What do you want? An outline of what qualifies a person for being President of the US? I promise you this: your outline will disqualify every president in history.

You just described all of Clinton's campaign. Any thoughts about Trump's?

Yeah, it's called look back at the man's woman's history before and during the election cycle.

And with that minor change it applies to Clinton. Any thoughts on Trump's campaign that can only be applied to him?
He's rich....oh wait, that applies to Clinton too.

He's out of touch with reality....damn, applies to Clinton.

He doesn't give a ***about the little people....crap, also applies to Clinton.

He's donated to the democrats before...***...also Clinton.

He is a corrupt ***....crap, Clinton too....

I already said that Clinton is about as poor a choice as Trump. And yet Clinton at the very least understands the post. Trump does not. Trump is a charlatan egomanaiac who needed his kids to boost him in the convention because no one else would.

That is telling.

Again, applies to Clinton too. The few people outside of her family that would boost Clinton would be paid shills.

Trump "qualifies" because he's a paid in full member of the Ku Klux Klan. That's all it takes.
Can we get somebody to address this issue please? I mean, I thought hateful rhetoric isn't allowed here!

Man... Mark Cuban has really come out against Trump...

Which is pretty funny, considering rumors that he was tossing around the idea of running himself around this time last year. I feel like I posted this here after it was murmured among ATX/Dallas compadres.

The way things have been shaping up for 2016,I would consider it.He ain't from Dallas, but he D-Town boogie.

And yet Mark Cuban makes solid points. Why does a billionaire like Trump continuously shuck shitty products into the market like a two-bit conman? If he's a real estate god you'd think such things beneath him. Why does he refuse to show his financials? Is there something in there so vile he can't be arsed to show it? It's likely he paid little in tax or has been bullshitting his wealth. The egomaniac can't help but continue to lie, lie, lie.

You'd almost excuse the lies if he could handle the post but he can't. Trying to shovel all the work onto Kaisch is telling how Trump views being POTUS. A chore. All he wants is the accolades and doesn't want to do the work. Guy doesn't even read, Jesus. Even Bush was tearing through literary works.

And again I say that there's plenty of confirmed shitty things to say about Trump, please do not credit him by making non-credible, unproven claims that are easily dismissed.

Spoken like someone who hasn't looked at the list of speakers for the DNC. As much as I dislike Clinton as the nominee, she has her big guns out in force backing her.

Trump did not. The RNC big guns stayed home. That's telling.

Just calling it as I see it, Ramy. Nothing more, nothing less.

But you're not. There's a very specific difference.

Quote:
Trump...is a paid in full member of the Ku Klux Klan...

Can you prove that? Have you seen his membership card/papers/receipt? Are those even things that exist in the KKK? I don't know. I have no idea.

What I do know is you did not say "he exhibits all the traits of a Klansmen."

You said "he's a paid-in-full member."

One exhibits an observation that is debatable, though largely passes at least a basic truth test (Trump appeals to the KKK, that's a documented fact. Intentionally or not is up for debate.)

The second, however, is a statement of fact which cannot be backed up. It's the difference between editorializing and libel.

Better question is: Why do people buy it? Hell, why did people buy it before he ran for president?

I don't care if he tries to sell Trump Steaks, tuition at Trump U., or whatever he wants to sell. If nobody buys it, then that solves that problem.

Fine then. Go ahead and release your tax returns to the public.

For you, it doesn't make a difference because who would care about your income? I won't release my tax returns to the public because nobody has a right to see what I make.

Personally, I don't think presidential candidates should release their returns either. It shows nothing about the person themselves, and most returns of that caliber are beyond people's comprehension, including the reporters who will do an "analysis" of said returns.

All it shows is how well the CPAs who filed the return did.

That's an unfair analysis. I mean, if you were honest about yourself, you could say the same about Clinton also....

Like I said, paid shills.

Given the chance, they would gut her quicker than you can say "sexist" and take over the presidency.

There is no loyalty with democrats, just opportunity.

Last I was aware, he dropped off the face of the planet after being voted out of his post after 9/11, only to resurface now, almost fifteen years later.

*sigh*

He wasn't voted out of office. He reached his term limit. He was massively popular following 9-11 and was named Time Person of the Year. He wouldn't have been voted out, in all likelihood, had he been able to run.

In my eyes, if he acts like one, he is one, regardless of whether or not it can be factually proven, as often enough those who act like bigots turn out to be members of said groups.

Oh good. At least now that gives me full reign to point out how you're a paid-in-full member of ISIS. I CALLZ EM LIKE I SEEZ EM.

Better question: Is paying for ISIS considered a tax-deductible charity expense? I mean, you are paying into a religion....

Lol, another side note. Bernie talking to his delegates says that they have to defeat Donald Trump.

*CHEER*

Bernie says that they have to elect Clinton and Kaine.

*BOOOOOOO*

Talk about a conflict of interest in the Bernie camp.... And what's the topic for the convention tonight? That's right, unity!

Personally I'm getting to the point where whoever wins, I just hope there are record-setting third-party votes this year. Johnson and Stein all over the place.

And maybe a handful of write-ins for Alfred E. Newman.

Scared? Don't think so.

Upset? *** yes. I mean, we have Trump and Clinton to deal with.

No clue what the *** to do about it? I don't know. Nobody is brave enough to do anything about it though.

Too many people support Trump and Clinton, while those of us in the middle get the shaft.

I'm still thinking about writing in Ann Richards.

At least Zahrah would know who I'm talking about.
