I did a google search and this is about as famous as this person will ever be.
Hey guys remember that Twitter thing with that one D list celebrity...yea that was great ! fonewear said: » Serious question who the hell is Leslie Jones sounds like a D list celebrity ? Oh, it's one of the women in the new Ghostbusters. Yeah, okay, well. She's okay then. Good luck to her. I haven't seen the movie but I adore it and it's better than the original.* *I just really, really, really, really want to piss off all the nerdraging knuckledraggers who think a new Ghostbusters endorsed by all the original cast is damaging their childhood or some idiotic ***. Someone should have told her that Twitter is 90% trolls so get used to the hate or don't sign up for it.

I tried to find the 'bring it, trolls' tweet but there were like two straight days of her bickering back to these people. No one is really right in this situation. Well, more like 87%. Of the other 13%, 12% is Pittsburgh journalists telling me about the Stillers and Pirates, and Panthers which I don't care about but have to take because they also talk about hockey, and 1% is aforementioned Twitterbots.
Quote: Rio de Janeiro (CNN)Brazilian police have arrested 10 people suspected of planning terrorist acts during the Olympics, Brazil's Justice Ministry said Thursday. The group was inspired by ISIS and only had contact with the group online, Justice Minister Alexandre de Moraes said. He said no specific targets were mentioned, but the Justice Ministry is still investigating the suspects' computers and cell phones to learn more about the plans. De Moraes said the suspects are all Brazilian nationals, and that one minor was mentioned in the conversations. De Moraes said the group was "not an organized cell." Another two suspects have warrants out for their arrests. Authorities said they believe those two people will be arrested soon. This week, Brazil's intelligence agency said it was reviewing all threats against the Rio 2016 Games after a jihadi messaging channel called for its followers to target the Olympics. "Many [threats] are discarded and the ones that deserve attention are investigated exhaustively," the agency said. Earlier this week, a jihadi channel on the messaging app Telegram called for attacks against the Games and detailed targets and methods, according to the SITE Intelligence Group. SITE said a message was posted to "Inspire the Believers!" saying, "Lone wolf from anywhere in the world can move to Brazil now." The message also suggested using the Games to target the enemies of jihad, including Western athletes. Another police shooting
Quote: (CNN)[Breaking news alert, posted at 12:11 p.m. Thursday] North Miami Police Chief Gary Eugene declined to release details Thursday about the officer who shot Charles Kinsey, referring questions to state authorities who have taken over the investigation. "I realize there may be questions about what happened on Monday night. You have questions. The community has questions. ... I, personally, have questions. I assure you, we'll get all the answers," Eugene said. Kinsey told CNN affiliate WSVN that an officer shot him while he was lying on the ground with his hands in the air. A U.S. congresswoman who represents the city told reporters she was shocked by the video that shows the scene before the shooting. "This is like a nightmare to me," U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson said. "When you shoot a man lying on the ground with his hands up, explaining to you the situation, and you shoot him anyway? Something's not right with this picture," she said. [Previous story, posted at 11:45 a.m. Thursday] The video shows a man lying in the street, holding his hands in the air. "All he has is a toy truck," the man shouts. "I am a behavior therapist at a group home." Charles Kinsey said the video, released by his attorney, shows the moment Monday when he tried to convince North Miami police not to harm his patient, a 23-year-old with autism who was sitting on the ground beside him. "I was more worried about him than myself," Kinsey told CNN affiliate WSVN-TV in Miami. "As long as I've got my hands up, they're not gonna shoot me, that's what I'm thinking," Kinsey said. "Wow, was I wrong." Now Kinsey is hospitalized with a gunshot wound. North Miami police said an officer opened fire after attempting to negotiate. Kinsey and his attorney said that explanation doesn't add up. State authorities say they're investigating. North Miami police said in a statement that a report of an armed man threatening suicide drew them to the scene. Kinsey said he tried to explain that his patient was holding a toy truck, not a firearm. He then asked his patient to be still and lie down. Cell phone video released by Kinsey's attorney shows part of that exchange. "Please be still ... get down ... lay on your stomach," Kinsey says in the video. The man beside him rocks back and forth. Another video released by the attorney shows a different perspective of the scene. In that video, Kinsey is lying in the road, on his stomach and handcuffed. So far, attorney Hilton Napoleon II said, video of the shooting itself hasn't surfaced. Reports of the North Miami shooting drew swift reactions on social media, with posts criticizing the officer who opened fire. North Miami police said in a statement that they are investigating this week's shooting, asking potential witnesses to come forward with any photos or video they may have. The officers who arrived "attempted to negotiate with the two men on the scene." At some point, one of the officers discharged his weapon, authorities said. That officer has been placed on administrative leave, as is the standard procedure. Kinsey said he was surprised, like when a mosquito bites unexpectedly. "When he hit me, I'm like, I still got my hands in the air," he said. "I'm like, 'Sir, why did you shoot me?' " Kinsey said he asked the officer. "He said to me, 'I don't know.' " The Miami-Dade state attorney's office is assisting with the investigation, police said. Kinsey was shot in his right leg after officers fired two or three shots, according to Napoleon. After the shooting, Kinsey told WSVN he was flipped over and handcuffed. According to Napoleon, Kinsey was on the ground for 20 minutes before an ambulance arrived. A hospital spokeswoman said Kinsey is in good condition. "Physically he will recover but mentally he felt like he did everything he could possibly do and that wasn't good enough," Napoleon said. "You can't shoot unarmed people period." Offline

Blazed1979 said: » send your police to be trained by the most oppressive country, Israhell Now, depending how you bend your criteria there's a little wiggle room, but while I'm not Israel's biggest supporter, "most" seems a little hyperbolic when so many places have far worse dictatorial control...frequently based on some combination of hereditary familial rule, religious doctrine, or ethnic lines. Again. Israel isn't awesome. But I'm pretty sure places like North Korea, Saudi Arabia, or Syria are objectively worse. Offline

Ramyrez said: » Saudi Arabia, I'm not aware of the Saudi's seizing land from other people and building settlements there. But hey, I guess that doesn't matter. They may not be settlers or responsible for expelling millions of natives from their lands, but they don't have nightclubs and transgender communities so they must be more oppressive. Blazed1979 said: » You need to go to Saudi Arabia and then go to Israel. "lol" Not a phrase a use often. But even as a man I'd be right *** if I went there merely by being there. Israel is guilty of some pretty serious ***, but I wouldn't fear for my personal safety trying to get in and out for a business trip, for instance. Admittedly, that has as much to do with my passport's country of origin as anything, but still. Speaking practically, Israel is a ton safer for me. That aside: Quote: Saudi Arabia’s discriminatory male guardianship system remains intact despite government pledges to abolish it. Under this system, ministerial policies and practices forbid women from obtaining a passport, marrying, traveling, or accessing higher education without the approval of a male guardian, usually a husband, father, brother, or son. Any country that routinely turns half its population into second-class citizens by virtue of their gender is pretty high up on my list of "*** up places that should probably see power change hands." So wait.
ISIS can use Twitter to recruit Jihadis. BLM can use Twitter to instigate violence and riots. British Femnazi's can declare all whitemen should die. But the gay conservative named Milo Yiannopolis gets banned for being too extreme and promoting hate? Offline

My reaction: Quetzalcoatl.Eradius said: » BLM can use Twitter to instigate violence and riots. ISIS. I dunno. 'Feminazis' (I hate that term, accurate as it may be) is probably due to Feminist Frequency (Sarkeesian) being a member of the Twitter Trust & Safety Council. Lastly, Milo appears to have been banned due to giving Ghostbusters a bad review, commenting on Leslie Jones' acting and then his followers lashing out, trolling Jones, and Jones asking Dorsey to ban Yiannopoulos. If we're being fair here, going by situation and not record, Jones was more extreme than Yiannopoulos. This being said, I'm not that fond of Milo and I think the *** being hurled at Jones is wrong but it's partly her fault for responding and egging things on; trading insults, cursing others out, and publicizing whenever and whoever she reports. Milo's suspension should be reversed, Dorsey should issue a public apology. In this individual case, Milo wasn't in the wrong as far as I can tell.
