Hasn't the corruption of this world hurt enough people?

Define "corruption."
Evil is corruption and this corruption also mask's the evil that causes it in the first place.
It is literally just like a disease.

I'll try to put it in a different perspective.
Despite what it might seem to some I am not a combative person at all(I usually just convey myself very badly)and I'm one of the most peaceful fools you could find on this planet. But if you start talking to me how this is a God or God J. thing then you will only annoy me. I lived all my life around people who preach religion and I don't want any of that. And I also have my very own reason for believing there isn't a god; but I often try to steer away from such debates cause I understand the delicate nature of one's beliefs and I consider cogitations upon existentialism to be very private, I respect that and try to keep my disagreements to myself, I don't try to "convert" anybody. But I also want my lack of desire for anything religious to be respected.
I'm all for discussing compassion and such, as long as we keep the conversation laic.

This sort of seems to be where things frequently fall apart for me.

People feel the need to inject their religion into all aspects of their lives, including governance. And when you ask them to not, they get very upset and accuse you of trampling all over their religious freedoms, when all you're really asking is for them to keep their religion to themselves and not try to apply it to people who want nothing to do with it.

Evil is corruption/corruption is evil.
It is the owner of the heart who decides what is evil and what is not evil.
Each person makes this choice and each person believes they are correct.
There would seem to be no right or wrong answer... at least not on the surface.
If we assume we already understand a matter, we blind our self's.
If we assume to know nothing of a matter, our minds and eyes become open and understanding may enter.
The truth will find us if we diligently seek after the actual truth, the truth we may have overlooked, rather than just leaning on our own understanding.

Okay, you're trying to play ambiguous about this. You need to stop.

Give examples of evil acts.

I'm not.

I'm asking you to cite an evil act.

Because here's the thing. I don't even know if we have a common reference point.

I can assume we do. I'm fairly certain we do. But for example:

The 10 Commandments. Ultimate list of evil things?

Because homosexuality isn't there. But theft, adultery, and murder are.

Yet people who claim to hold the 10 Commandments dear seem to have no problem justifying those three things when put into context of the modern world, but they really hate homosexuality, when it's not even on the list.

TL;DR

Here's the thing about gun control.

Every time one of these situations comes up, you know who makes a metrick *** of money?

The firearms industry.

They love mass shootings. The make bank over people fearmongering about weapons being taken away, so people stock up.

An anonymous source at the NRA reported that the surge of assault rifle sales after mass shootings has decreased dramatically. The noted that most individuals who were in the market for an assault weapon have likely already done so. Apparently, assault weapons make up less than 25% of firearms sales in the last few years. The firearm industry is looking more and more like a bloated tick ready to fall off even with the stockpiling from gun ban fears.

after a shooting like this, I definitely would have signed up for a conceal and carry if I was in your country.

Way too few people in that club that could shoot back and save their own lives.
Even if it was illegal, no jury would convict you for gunning down a terrorist shooting at a crowd.

Statistically, vigilantes do more harm than good and are more oft to be shot by police. It's also illegal in a lot of places to carry a weapon in any place that sells alcohol.

Just what I want in a club where liquor flows like the gentle streams of the Sierra Nevada: People armed with concealed weapons.

Nothing could possibly go wrong.

Seriously, do people who say they want guns in a club actually go to clubs? I can't wait for someone to stick a piece in someones face because they refused to dance with them or because they're upset the plan to get laid went wrong.

Sure is a good time to be a bouncer. If a fistfighting, drunk idiot wasn't bad enough, now every John Wayne is going to need a firm choking when they get a bit too uppity.

The Sheriffs office was actually asked on Monday for confirmation from law enforcement on how many of the people who were killed and injured at Pulse by the gunman or from friendly fire since (last I read) between 8-9 different cops opened fire at one point.

Careful. So guys are really sensitive about this issue. You may get them excited and their gun will accidentally go off.

I'm not chiming in at all about the tenuous 2A discussion that pops up every time America deals with a massacre. Guns, no guns, whatever.

But seriously? Guns in bars? clubs? nightclubs? lounges? *** outta here. Why don't we just muh freedoms drunk driving while we're at it.

When you say "GOD" which one exactely are you talking about? The ebraic god? The Christian-Catholic one? The muslim one? Something else?
All of those are the same god you know.

The god of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Its why they are refereed to as Abrahamic religions.

P. S. Some professor got canned from a religious college recently for pointing this out.

Every time says Godless society, I want them to point on a map the hyperreligious society that is the envy of the globe.

Is it Saudi Arabia, the paradise for women?
Is it Iran, where the religious police are known to be fair and balanced?
Is it India where tribalism and tradition hamstring any attempts to move into the 21st century?
Is it 16th century Europe where Jews were persecuted, religious faith tests were all the rage?
Is it in Africa where people use religion as a means to oppress others and engage in smoke and mirrors leadership all while raping the nations coffers dry?

Where is it? Lord knows.
