But when the state starts telling local government that they CANNOT make anti-discrimination laws, somebody has to step in.
Why should somebody step in to put a stop to that?

"Please elect Bill again" is honestly her best option, should have started with it.

That's not an endorsement of Bill. Just a statement to my perceived value of any other likely candidate in the general election, as The Mandate™ has been against Bernie from the get-go. Also, in legitimate fact, you'd probably be calling Bill Clinton "Mister Secretary," as he's likely to end up with a cabinet position if Hillary is elected. At least, I would hope she's smart enough to do that.
Because not only would that put someone with massive experience in the position, it would actually keep them relatively separated in physical proximity, which seems to be the appropriate thing for both of them in their obviously-based-on-power-not-love marriage. As for the honorary, I suspect "First Gentleman" would be used as it is the standard for the husbands of female governors. I don't know why anyone would think that Bill actually strived to do good for the economy.
I mean, the good things that happened for the economy under his watch was done by other men. Mainly, NAFTA was mainly created by the Bush I administration, even though Clinton signed it, it was already done negotiating by the Bush team. That surplus people keep spouting about? Congress did nearly all of the work. Clinton just signed the bills. All he did really was sign pieces of paper. He was hardly in any of the planning or negotiation stages of any of these economic boons. But let's not forget that things that ended up hurting the economy more, like speeding up the housing crisis in 2008, was negotiated and signed by Clinton himself (and Janet Reno). At this point just trying to work with what we have to work with. If she just says "Bill, go to the room and put the gimp suit on and don't come out until I tell you," that's fine too. I'm just trying to be realistic about the options in the event of a Hilldawg Presidency. Also, you're welcome for that mental image. Iran cracks down on female models posing without headscarves online
Quote: TEHRAN, Iran -- Iranian police have arrested eight people in a new crackdown targeting "un-Islamic acts" online such as female models posting images of themselves without their hair covered, state media reported Monday, part of a larger cultural struggle in the Islamic Republic over the country's future. The arrests follow the detentions of artists, poets, journalists and activists as moderate President Hassan Rouhani's administration secured a landmark nuclear deal with world powers. The arrests and harsh sentences handed down signal that hard-liners in the police and judiciary, who were unable to stop the accord and fear looser social norms will weaken the Islamic Republic, still hold significant power in the country. Yeah, so. I just don't have the words. I guess we're lucky we're just bickering freely about which asshat gets to be president? At least we can be pretty sure that regardless of who we put in power this won't happen? Then again, Trump isn't -- somewhat ironically -- always free speech's biggest advocate either if his history of frivolously suing the press is any indication. Ramyrez said: » I just don't have the words. oppressing women is as old as time. We're the freaks and weirdos in the west experimenting with educating women, letting them think, vote, drive and such. We haven't even been doing that very long. hell chanti's mom was probably oppressed here. Ramyrez said: » I guess we're lucky we're just bickering freely about which asshat gets to be president? well technically, you and I would have been fine. our mothers, wives, and daughters on the other hand, are very lucky, yes. You can't make this ***up we live in a "brave new world"
Transgender studies concerns itself with the variability and contingency of gender, sexuality, identity, and embodiment across time, space, languages, and cultures. It pays particular attention to the socio-political, legal, and economic consequences of noncompliance with gender norms; to the histories and social organization of minoritized transgender lives and communities; to forms of cultural production that represent or express gender variance; to the medicalization of identity and the depathologization of bodily difference; and to the emergence of novel forms of embodied subjectivity within contemporary techno-cultural environments. Because we seek to hire the most innovative scholars in this rapidly evolving field, we are open to considering any area of specialization, research agenda, and inter/disciplinary training compatible with faculty service in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. If my wife had been the oppressed type she'd never have been allowed to become the person that I married. And I would most certainly not be fine. Hindsight is what it is, but it doesn't take a physicist to plot the trajectory I was on before I fell in with my wife and her crowd. So *** you, I'm lucky and I won't hear otherwise! There is a huge *** conflict of interest with him being not only her husband but also a former president. Plus as a former president it would be a demotion for him to take that position. He'll do what all former presidents do, retire into the background and enjoy a lifelong break from the monumental stress of running the US government. Occasionally do photo-ops and speeches while knowing your name will forever be written into the history of your country. They're apparently human-alien hybrids with skin of Teflon the way nothing sticks to them. Asura.Saevel said: » He'll You're right though. Cabinet is probably too overt. But I can't see him just being a fly on the wall. Even if he isn't doing anything in an "official" capacity.
