I just find it ridiculous when people try to vent outrage about costs when the US spends a ton on silly ***.

Uh, you can be a states' rights advocate and still acknowledge waste. The fiscal condition of my state is much better than most other states and I'm still not pleased with a good chunk of where the money goes.
