Random Politics & Religion #01
I never got water cannoned. I did get tear gassed.
Josiahkf said: » Also because your parents failed to teach you how to solve your problems without resorting to violence like an animal, you put another kid in the hospital. And you're proud of that? I would be. In some cases there are people who don't give you the option to settle something a different way. These are the kind of people I was talking about, the ones who have to get their *** kicked inside out and be put in their god damn place. There are people where violence is all *they* know, so you have to speak their language. Catching them with a punch or two isn't going make them stop. You have to break them down into the ground, humiliate them, and make them realize they will never be able to solve all their problems with violence because eventually someone will beat the ***out of THEM. I'm not saying go around beating the ***out of randos just in case they might want to pick a fight. I am not saying pre-emptively beat the tar out of your kid. I am saying that when people have already devolved to this point where they are acting like animals, they only thing you can do to get through to them is to be the bigger, stronger animal. Josiahkf said: » Also because your parents failed to teach you how to solve your problems without resorting to violence like an animal, you put another kid in the hospital. I'm not saying that there weren't or aren't parents who do that. My parents only used spankings as a last resort, or as punishment for a very serious offence. I didn't get hit every single time I broke a window or got a bad grade or didn't do homework, I got hit for sending a kid to the hospital (the only one I really remember). But thanks for calling my parents animals, also bad parents. I really appreciate those personal insults. Josiahkf said: » Just because you believe there is a connection, doesn't mean there is one. I could easily just claim the same; There was a shitload of fighting constantly in schools when I was growing up because we were all taught by our parents that violence solves problems. Then again, kids will always be kids. If you spank them, they will either A) stop or B) keep doing it. If you don't spank them and punish them a different way, they will either A) stop or B) keep doing it. How the parent should punish them is up to the parent, not what is "public belief" to do. Were it on the street he would probably have shot her. Is it bad that I prefer the person which gets shot is white so we don't have to watch people going apeshit rioting? Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » It takes a lot of violence to hospitalize someone. I dunno about THAT. Maybe the other kid wasn't getting enough calcium. I mean I have been hospitalized because I had a poop that was too big for me to handle. It doesn't always take THAT much violence. I don't care even if you fathered 200 children. If you beat them you're not disciplining them, you're abusing them.
Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » what are you talking about? I said that you acted like an animal by putting another kid in the hospital; It takes a lot of violence to hospitalize someone. Besides, if I was an animal (you just keep those personal insults coming!), I wouldn't remember that particular fight or how it effected me. You honestly think that I don't regret using violence on that kid that day? I have never forgotten that fight, and I wouldn't have even if my parents punished me differently than they did. But you know what? I'm me. I'm not like the rest of the world, so I'm effected differently than anyone else. To you, you may feel differently if you were in my shoes that day. Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » I never said your parents acted like animals and used violence in a frenzy to hospitalize people or insulted their behavior etc In "Close to Home" news:
At least 2 dead, shooting scene still active at Lackland Air Force Base, Sheriff's Office says Quote: SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies are responding to reports of an active shooter at Lackland Air Force Base Friday morning where at least two victims have been confirmed. Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau said in a phone interview it is not known if there is one or more shooters at the base, but said she had deputies on the scene. The Sheriff's Office tweeted around 9:20 a.m. "we have victims at Lackland Air Force Base, scene still active." Several law enforcement agencies are at the base, which is on lockdown and in southwestern Bexar County. An email sent to mySA.com from a nearby resident said two siren announcements went off at around 8:45 a.m. warning that an active shooter was present near Building 134 on the base. Calls to base officials were not immediately returned. Situation still active, more to come. All these non parents talking about not spanking your kids haha. I have 4 children who got spanked when they were young, ***my dad was no stranger to the belt when we were kids. I will admit there is a difference between spanking your kid and beating the ***out of them but I am a firm believer in a good *** spanking if kids do wrong.
Josiahkf said: » If you genuinely felt in control of your actions at the time, and hospitalizing the other kid was just a random accident than I apologize KN. My saying it sounded like you behaved like an animal wasn't meaning you still act like that or anything. Your original post did not convey that at all. it conveyed completely zero self control. Asura.Kingnobody said: » (I beat the ***out of a kid who was messing with my sister, broke both of his arms and a couple of ribs. Kid had to be rushed to the hospital Asura.Kingnobody said: » I think I was 10 at the time, but I didn't fight ever again because of that. Also, several schools and public buildings are on lockdown near Lackland AFB.
Josiahkf said: » But imagine if your parents had just taught you that violence can not solve your problems before that point. Josiahkf said: » Or imagine you had killed that kid. Josiahkf said: » there is potential for millions of kids to know before that age that violence cannot solve their problems and avoid all of that pain both you and the other kid had to go through entirely. in my case had i not had a certain amount of fear of my mom when i *** up i would have seen them as weak and did whatever the *** i wanted to whoever the *** i wanted im not actually pro child abuse if something else works do it just know that if i were your child you might have got your throat slit in your sleep lol
Josiahkf said: » you assume a great deal about my childhood just because I mentioned the potential for avoiding hospitalization. Do you not remember a time in your life while you were a kid when you thought you knew more than your parents? Josiahkf said: » Garuda.Chanti said: » I never got water cannoned. I did get tear gassed. you've probably seen his political career a hell of a lot more than any of us As to Bernie's career, I haven't followed it closely. I did cheer when he first ran, and got elected, as a socialist. His time as mayor of Burlington is more telling of how he is as an executive than his time in DC. Why am I not surprised?
Then again, you would vote for a turnip over any Republican. Well, considering the Republican candidates, I would vote for the turnip too. But I would still vote for any Republican over Clinton or Sanders. They could promise to wage war on the rest of the world for all I care, they still would be a better choice than any democrat. Josiahkf said: » Asking me a broad question like that is meaningless because I can't confirm or deny the theory you're posing about your example of your youth. Then again, have I shown to lie on this website? Also, lockdown over.
One of the 2 casualties seemed to be the shooter himself. Quote: The identities of the victims have not been released, but according to "initial internal Pentagon communications obtained by the Air Force Times, the commanding officer of the 341st K-9 Training Squadron at the base was shot by an airman." Source This seems to be a Private Pyle situation. Also, Josiah is in a mood today.
