I never got water cannoned. I did get tear gassed.

I would be. In some cases there are people who don't give you the option to settle something a different way. These are the kind of people I was talking about, the ones who have to get their *** kicked inside out and be put in their god damn place.

There are people where violence is all *they* know, so you have to speak their language. Catching them with a punch or two isn't going make them stop. You have to break them down into the ground, humiliate them, and make them realize they will never be able to solve all their problems with violence because eventually someone will beat the ***out of THEM.

I'm not saying go around beating the ***out of randos just in case they might want to pick a fight. I am not saying pre-emptively beat the tar out of your kid. I am saying that when people have already devolved to this point where they are acting like animals, they only thing you can do to get through to them is to be the bigger, stronger animal.

I'm sorry, but my parents didn't hit me just because, or for minor issues.

I'm not saying that there weren't or aren't parents who do that. My parents only used spankings as a last resort, or as punishment for a very serious offence. I didn't get hit every single time I broke a window or got a bad grade or didn't do homework, I got hit for sending a kid to the hospital (the only one I really remember).

But thanks for calling my parents animals, also bad parents. I really appreciate those personal insults.

Fine, you can make that assertion. There is a real lack of knowing which is right, of course.

Then again, kids will always be kids. If you spank them, they will either A) stop or B) keep doing it. If you don't spank them and punish them a different way, they will either A) stop or B) keep doing it. How the parent should punish them is up to the parent, not what is "public belief" to do.

It's bad to want somebody get shot in the first place. Regardless what skin color they have.

I dunno about THAT. Maybe the other kid wasn't getting enough calcium.

I mean I have been hospitalized because I had a poop that was too big for me to handle. It doesn't always take THAT much violence.

I don't care even if you fathered 200 children. If you beat them you're not disciplining them, you're abusing them.

Not when you are a 5'10" and weigh ~200 lbs fighting somebody half your weight and a foot shorter than you.

Besides, if I was an animal (you just keep those personal insults coming!), I wouldn't remember that particular fight or how it effected me. You honestly think that I don't regret using violence on that kid that day? I have never forgotten that fight, and I wouldn't have even if my parents punished me differently than they did. But you know what? I'm me. I'm not like the rest of the world, so I'm effected differently than anyone else. To you, you may feel differently if you were in my shoes that day.

The way you structured your sentence, you did. You may not have intended, but that's not how I saw it.

All these non parents talking about not spanking your kids haha. I have 4 children who got spanked when they were young, ***my dad was no stranger to the belt when we were kids. I will admit there is a difference between spanking your kid and beating the ***out of them but I am a firm believer in a good *** spanking if kids do wrong.

They probably did. I didn't listen to them, like, oh I don't know, every other kid at that age. Remember that magical time in your life where you think you know everything, and your parents are just trying to make your life a living hell? This was before that one point in your life where you stop, take a look, and realize that they are right. This event was that point in my life.

Don't you think I don't know that? Hell, on occasion I still get dreams about what could have happened.

in my case had i not had a certain amount of fear of my mom when i *** up i would have seen them as weak and did whatever the *** i wanted to whoever the *** i wanted im not actually pro child abuse if something else works do it just know that if i were your child you might have got your throat slit in your sleep lol

As to Bernie's career, I haven't followed it closely. I did cheer when he first ran, and got elected, as a socialist. His time as mayor of Burlington is more telling of how he is as an executive than his time in DC.

Then again, you would vote for a turnip over any Republican. Well, considering the Republican candidates, I would vote for the turnip too.

But I would still vote for any Republican over Clinton or Sanders. They could promise to wage war on the rest of the world for all I care, they still would be a better choice than any democrat.
