That's like saying you're more charitable than pre-ghosts visit Scrooge.
It doesn't really mean much.

YouTube Video Placeholder You atleast understand the difference between good and evil cuz we have too much 1st hand account information to deny supernatural existence. There's also the notion of life beyond earth to consider. I would imagine everyone believes in something beyond the realm of normality and planet earth. Even aethiests should be fearful of ominous signs. No? Ominous signs? lol

In a universe of amazing cosmic diversity it's nearly certain to exist. But I'm speaking of extraterrestrial life, not "afterlife." And "normal" is a fluid concept. If you're saying I must believe in an existence after death, you're entirely mistaken. Also, are you Lolgrim?
Because Youtube conspiracy videos as evidence are laughable. Ramyrez said: » Also, are you Lolgrim? Because Youtube conspiracy videos as evidence are laughable. What?! Siren.Akson said: » And? So that makes it FACT such does not exist? Haunting in Connecticut movie was based on a RL experience. It's definitely not the one and only story ever told and I ofc I can't decipher fact from fiction with 100% authority but I atleast think personally something must exist. And that's why it's called a belief. But it is not one that is scientifically supported. Hence, while you are free to believe it, basing any laws, regulations, or restrictions on others due to it is not appropriate. And people not getting that is one of the major reasons we get to so many problems in the world. Siren.Akson said: » There are countless accounts of the supernatural. Admitting the likelihood of extraterrestrial life has nothing to do with any sort of God, afterlife, or associated fantasy. Siren.Akson said: » Caitsith.Shiroi said: » Life beyond earth would not be a supernatural phenomenon. You are refusing to understand (or incapable of understanding?) the definition of "supernatural" in the context we are discussing it. If it exists, it is naturally-occurring, or created by a naturally-occurring phenomena. So in a very small way you're right, but not in the way you (apparently) understand it. I cannot rule out the existence of a higher form of life in the universe. What I can deny until proven otherwise -- against science as is currently understood -- is any sort of afterlife, "ghosts," and related phenomena. And as soon as it's proven -- or significant evidence beyond "Billy saw a ghost" is provided pointing strongly to it -- I'll take under consideration the possibility. |
